We stayed at this hotel in July 2026. Overall, it is a nice hotel with clean rooms and a very convenient location close to the beach. At the beach, you can either lie on the sand, but in that case it is better to bring your own beach mat or blanket. The hotel provides beach towels and umbrellas that you can borrow. You can also rent two sunbeds and an umbrella on the beach near the hotel for €30 for the whole day. The food was varied and there was a large selection, although not everything was equally tasty. One thing we did not like was that some plates and glasses were not washed properly and still had food marks on them, so sometimes it was difficult to find a completely clean one. The staff were polite, friendly and always ready to help. We also enjoyed the evening shows, entertainment and activities. Despite a few small issues, we had a good stay and would recommend this hotel.

We stayed at Iberostar Waves Cristina to celebrate our 2nd anniversary and absolutely loved our experience! From the moment we arrived, the reception team made us feel so welcome. The service was wonderful, and every single staff member without exception was smiling, kind, and very polite throughout our stay. The hotel was always spotless, and the cleanliness really stood out to us. Everything was extremely clean and very well maintained every day. Our room was excellent, comfortable, spacious, and cleaned to a very high standard. We were also impressed by the variety of food – there were so many options every day, and everything felt fresh and well organized. We especially loved the entertainment and activities at the hotel. The shows and presentations were amazing and made our evenings even more special. Another thing we really appreciated was the hotel app, which was very useful and convenient during our stay. It made everything easier and helped us stay informed about activities and hotel information. Honestly, we felt spoiled every single day. Thank you for making our anniversary trip so memorable. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel and the rooms were clean. We greatly appreciated the ice creams by the pool during the day and the drinks that were passed around in the evening. The staff were always incredibly nice and helpful. Not forced, but natural, heartfelt friendliness. An extra thank you to Martina from guest services for her listening, understanding ear, and for subsequently resolving the room issue in a constructive manner. My wife, our 1-year-old, and I stayed at this hotel for 10 days, and it was such a comfortable stay that I'd genuinely come back if I get the chance. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a drink and a warm conversation at the reception desk. The room was nice and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and hardworking. You'd even see the managers walking around making sure everything was running smoothly, something you rarely see at other hotels. They pay attention to the small details, whether it's hygiene, tidiness, or just a friendly smile and a bit of small talk. Whatever you needed, they were there for you. Big thumbs up, 10/10 for the service and the management that keeps this hotel running so well. The decor is modern and fresh, and the lounge areas are comfortable and close to the café and bar, perfect for a quick snack or a good coffee. The animation team is fantastic, the shows are entertaining and creative. The pool is huge with different depths, so you can relax in shallow water or go for a proper swim. The kids' pool stayed in the shadow almost all day, which was a good for a toddler. They also had a nice system where if you left your things on a sunbed for more than 45 minutes without using it, they'd leave a friendly wooden sign as a warning. It stopped people from reserving beds at 6 a.m. and disappearing, so even if we waited a little, we always found a spot near the pool. The food was excellent, with a great variety and creative themes: Asian, Mexican, Italian, and more, changing daily. They were also happy to accommodate special requests. The location is great too. Buses and taxis are easy to find, and shops, restaurants, cafés, and the beach are all within a two minute walk. A few things that could improve: Room soundproofing could be better; you can hear loud conversations from neighboring rooms. Some rooms could use better maintenance. Only one elevator was working during our entire stay, the other was out of service the whole time, which meant long waits, especially during high season. Overall, I'd rate it 10/10. It's absolutely worth the price, and i recommend it. A big thank you to everyone who made our stay so great, from reception to the café and restaurant staff, the animation team, the lifeguards, the maintenance crew, the cleaners, and the whole management team. A wonderful hotel with plenty to do. An amazing variety of dinners and evening entertainment for the whole family. What really surprised me? The professionalism and kindness of the reception staff. Especially Ivan and Kevin, who took the initiative to start chatting to me in our native language. That was a lovely touch. What’s more, with so many guests, the staff immediately took an interest in sorting out every detail and addressed us personally (by name), which is simply lovely. The dedication of the housekeeping staff is also very important – the girls do a tremendous job and do it really well, leaving little touches for the children, such as crayons and colouring books, but also for the adults – fresh flowers in the room after it’s been cleaned. The work carried out by the whole team at such a large hotel – simply a masterpiece! Thank you for a wonderful holiday!
