November 2025 was our first (and last) stay at this hotel, and the following is a breakdown of our findings... Check in - Unnecessarily confusing, time consuming and chaotic. Room - (1122) with nice pool and sea views was large and functional but very tired. No towels initially and floor dirty. Two single chairs are a little bashed about and the sofa has many stains. Ripped wallpaper above the bedhead. USB point not working. Bedside light damaged/missing. Bathroom sink damaged and shower screen leaks over onto the sink unit. We found the mattresses very firm and uncomfortable. Internet - always connected (even on the beach), but actual Internet access was hit and miss. Hotel grounds - really nice and very well kept. Sunbeds - towels were put out very early to snap up the best positions and on occasion not enough to go around (including the beach). Restaurant - bright, clean and plenty of tables. Food was tasty, well prepared but virtually the same every day and never hot. We also fell foul to a money grabbing waiter who moved our drinks and personal effect to another table whilst we were selecting our food from the buffet so that one of his 'favoured couples' could have it, and waited on them personally. Whilst for us it was completely self service. However the same waiter would frequently push in front of guests to get drinks for his 'favoured guests'! This made us feel uncomfortable and most unwelcome. We'll definitely not book this very average hotel again in the future.

We absolutely loved staying here! The hotel itself was stunning, the room was spacious & the balcony was lovely and big! I can’t put into words how lovely and kind the staff were, they made us feel so welcome. The food was delicious & the drinks were great! The pools and everything else were just amazing. The area is lovely with so much to do & the locals are very friendly. Entertainment was very good too and there’s a kids club that my son really enjoyed, a big thank you to Samia who was so incredibly lovely and so good with my little boy! We landed early hours this morning and we are already missing this place so much! We will definitely love to come back!

Had a great stay in this hotel. Rooms spacious enough. Nicely cleaned on evryday basis. Music and dancing finish after 11pm which was absolutely brilliant for us. Bars opened till midnight. Only one night been quiet noisy as one company celebrated birthday. But it was ok. Staff working really nice in all departments. They make you feel very welcomed and as part of the family really. We liked swimming pools arrangement with grassed palms islands. Grass, trees and flowers maintenence is top 👌. Beach part maintened by hotel fine. But public sand would have to be sifted.

The rooms are gorgeous bright and large. The service is second to none. Friendly helpful chatty. The hotel is lovely be sure to visit the pool bar for breakfast and lunch for freshly cooked items and a calmer less manic feel. Main restaurant can be very noisy and loud like a canteen. Food is gorgeous. Plenty of local fresh choice. Stone baked pizza and fresh chips if that's your thing. Alternatively lamb and chicken Moroccan dishes. Lots of vegetable sides . Salads of all kinds, bbq for lunch and mini cakes and puds for all. The spa was lovely and a real treat around £80 each for a 2 hours of r and r Sunbeds .... oh we love an early morning lounger claim as brits...... I do feel the hotel needs to get chucking towels off as last few days it was a bit of pain . The beach area was super and we enjoyed an afternoon there which was literally just across the promenade. A great hotel with super staff. I recommend completely.

We came home yesterday after a weeks holiday as a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children ages 1, 4 and 6). We had a brilliant week and will definitely be returning. The rooms were spacious and very clean, the cleaners can always be seen cleaning everywhere around the hotel. All of the staff were lovely and welcoming and all made an effort to speak to us and answer any questions that we had. The majority of staff spoke really good English and most of the guests that we spoke to were from England, making it a great time for my children as they made good friends around the poolside and in the kids club etc. We were really impressed with the food, they had so many options including at the poolside snack bar. We especially loved the play area in the main restaurant and loved being able to sit and enjoy a meal while the children played. The kids section of the restaurant was fantastic for fussy eaters with food such as chicken nuggets, mashed potato, pasta dishes and pizza etc. The drink selection is great with many cocktails (the blue lagoon was my favourite!) and they also had mocktails which were perfect for my 6 year old who wanted to feel grown up minus the alcohol. The lady who works in the kids club is lovely and always made the children happy - they do mini disco and various arts and crafts etc. It was nice and safe inside and I felt comfortable allowing my 6 year old to go in by herself while I was outside. In other hotels we have not felt comfortable enough to let her go in by herself. The hotel is in an excellent location right on the beach with its own private part of the beach for iberostar guests. We loved the goats in trees, crocopark, souk el had and the sunset camel ride. We only had one slight negative of the hotel that we didn’t understand had to take so long which was the check in process. They needed to see passports (fair enough) but then we had to fill in 5 separate forms with emails/addresses/date of birth/nationality/place of birth/occupation which I didn’t understand as why did they need to see what jobs we have? It was very draining filling it out after a day of travelling with 3 children. We were surprised as we didn’t have anyone show us to our room or take our suitcases with us which again was hard having a pushchair with us as well. Normally everywhere else that we travelled to has offered to help. Thank you iberostar Founty beach for creating such amazing memories for me and my family ❤️
