Pros - beautiful location by the sea front and the best team. Everyone we met from reception, cleaning to entertainment team were always helpful and friendly - nothing was a bother despite being busy. The shower head was very dirty and when we told housekeeping they actually changed it to a brand new one - incredible! There is also an abundance of activities from kids to adults throughout the day. You won’t get bored. Cons - the rooms are a bit dated and the bed was rock hard. The food quality and variety in the buffet is average and I’m surprised that they do not have a wider variety of fruits and salads. There is also very limited options for lunch onsite and no waiter service by the pools. They do not even have tables to put a drink which is inconvenient. The drinking water situation is also bizarre, I support the use of refillable bottles but there should be stations to do this in communal areas instead of having to go into a bar/restaurant. It makes you feel like you are constantly “asking” for even a drink of water. And there’s not much option once the bars are closed. Tips - I’d definitely recommend getting a car as there is only one bar/restaurant and small store within walking distance (which is closed on a Sunday).

Gorgeous hotel, room was immaculate as is the grounds. The piano bar is lovely and the cocktails are nice. We were treated to a complimentary meal, spa access and a free mini bar. The only faults we have found was that the “heated” pool still wasn’t hot enough to swim in during the January chills over here and the food in the restaurant was nice, but nothing to write home about. Overall however the service, cleanliness and look of this hotel is fabulous. We were given free prosecco upon arrival along with at dinner - they really pull out the stops to make the stay luxurious and for great value

We had a great stay here. The food was good and always served warm. The drinks were outstanding and arrived within minutes of ordering, no matter where we were in the hotel. All inclusive package is well worth it. I was a little concerned after reading some negative reviews, but we did not have a single issue during our stay. Service was smooth and reliable throughout. The Rituals soap in the bathrooms was a lovely touch. A special mention to Ed in the Disco Bar. He was friendly, welcoming, and made the evenings even better. We would definitely return.

One of the best hotel or resort experiences I've ever had. The grounds are enormous, a great many rooms but designed in a way that it nevertheless feels cozy. They are immaculately well-maintained and are constantly being cleaned and repaired by staff. The staff, in turn, were some of the best I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing, multilingual, friendly, and unfailingly polite even in the face of some guests' incredible rudeness. We didn't get the chance to try the reservation-only restaurants but tried the superior and normal Buffets and both were good, if limited by their buffet quality. Food choices were rotated out regularly which meant that there were plenty of new things to try, though it also carried some negatives as one day the food was quite underwhelming. The location is fine if you have a car, a bit trickier if you wish to only use public transportation as we did, and you will likely have to transfer or walk a portion. The hotel is a half-hour's walk from the more tourist-y boardwalk area and is very calm. There are also a great many friendly wild cats, though they don't bother if you don't try to draw their attention. If you like cats I recommend bringing treats, they are very friendly. Facilities such as car rental can be done from within the hotel, and from my experience the staff was extremely helpful with any request you might have. We rented a car for a day for roughly 40€, and a day or two is all one needs to explore the island. The only element which slightly degraded the quality of the trip was something entirely outside of the hotel's control, and it was the other guests. We visited in the off-season so the resort wasn't crowded; despite this, there were an disproportionately large number of individuals shoving at the buffet, allowing their children to smash things and disrupt other people, and disparaging or insulting staff and other guests. The staff handled it far better than I could have, and I wish I could award them an extra star for that alone. All-in-all a marvelous first time on Lanzarote and with H10, and this hotel chain will absolutely be seeing my business again. I can highly recommend!

Our first time here and we loved it at the H10 Rubicon. With Art Deco vibes this Beautiful, spacious hotel is in a great location, really close to playa blanca. We visited in November, so the hotel was pretty chilled. We enjoyed the tranquility and facilities when we visited and found the staff to be very friendly and hard working. Food was good, some of the restaurants were better than others however we didn't sample them all. We enjoyed an all inclusive experience, especially the selection of top shelf beverages and cocktails on offer throughout the day with plenty of opportunities to eat. The buffet restaurant was good with a variety of different options on offer each day. We particularly enjoyed the fresh prawns and canaryian dishes. We enjoyed the Italian restaurant and the bistro which had some tasty interesting snacks on offer. Entertainment varied, the piano bar has a very chilled classic vibe while the disco bar was a little more lively with some great signing acts on different nights throughout our holiday. If you are after more chilled, relaxed vibes on holiday then I definitely recommend the rubicon and playa blanca in November for some winter sun.
