  • Early Breakfast at the Basilikos main restaurant upon request (5am to 7am)
  • Breakfast buffet at the Basilikos main restaurant (7am to 11am)
  • Lunch buffet and show cooking at the Basilikos main restaurant (12.30pm to 2.30pm)
  • Dinner buffet and show cooking at the Basilikos main restaurant (6.30pm to 9.30pm)

Wow! I was impressed from the moment I saw the hotel from the motorway, and even more impressed when we arrived. The staff are incredibly polite, professional, and attentive, the service is outstanding, and our room was spotless with a beautiful partial sea view. Everything here is amazing: the beach, the crystal clear water, the bars, the evening entertainment, and the breathtaking views all around the resort. We have travelled to many destinations across Europe and around the world, but the food here truly blew us away. The quality, variety, and taste are simply exceptional. What surprised us the most was the attention to detail and genuine care for guests. We arrived late in the evening, yet the hotel kept a restaurant open until 11 PM for guests arriving late, which was greatly appreciated. Even more unexpectedly, my girlfriend received a beautiful birthday cake with “Happy Birthday” on it, despite us never mentioning her birthday to anyone. We were absolutely amazed by this thoughtful gesture. This is one of the best holiday experiences we have ever had. Absolutely everything, the resort, the beach, the food, the bars, the entertainment, and the incredible staff, was fantastic. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Between June 1–5, we stayed at Fodele Beach Resort as a family of five (two adults and three children). During check-in, our son was playing in the lobby and unfortunately cut his chin. The staff were absolutely amazing—they responded immediately to our requests, arranged medical assistance, and organized a taxi to take us to a private clinic. Beyond that, the hotel is in a perfect location, with stunning mountain-to-sea views and a truly magical atmosphere. We stayed in a spacious, clean suite that comfortably accommodated our entire family. The food was excellent, the water slides were fantastic, and the pool restaurant was great. Most importantly, the staff were kind, positive, and attentive throughout our stay. We highly recommend this hotel to families looking for a wonderful vacation, exceptional hospitality, and amazing facilities for children. ❤️

Overall satisfied with the resort, more suitable for families with children. The food is very diverse, tasty, there is plenty to choose from. I want to highly commend the staff of the entire resort, very helpful, kind and always helpful. and especially I want to commend Olexia in the Lobby bar, very very hardworking and always helpful and with a smile 👍. There could be more activities within the resort.

Great all inclusive resort, amazing service, a lot of food with alot of verity all day long. Free drinks including beers wine and cocktails. Great vacation for family's with kids. plenty of activities, arcades, water park, pools, sports etc. The staff wash really great and was super friendly with a positive mind and spirit.

We recently stayed at Fodele Beach Resort in Crete with our family and had mixed feelings about the experience. The biggest disappointment was that the rooms did not match the appearance or quality shown on the website photos. The marketing images present a much more modern and polished experience than what we actually received. The room felt dated and worn compared to expectations set online. Another major issue was the waterpark and pools. It was not made sufficiently clear before booking that most of the pools and waterpark areas would be extremely cold and effectively unusable for families during our stay. Only the smallest pool was heated, and even that seemed to be heated inconsistently on certain days rather than throughout the entire trip. For a family-focused resort, especially one promoting its water facilities so heavily, this was frustrating. The food offered a wide variety of choices, which we appreciated, but much of it lacked flavor and felt very mass-produced or “run of the mill” rather than authentic or high quality. There was quantity, but not much distinction or memorable taste across several cuisines. That said, there were positives. The kids club was genuinely a delight. Our children really enjoyed their time there, made friends, and looked forward to participating each day. The staff there deserve recognition for creating a welcoming environment for families. The beach itself was also enjoyable, and the surrounding rocky mountains created beautiful scenery and memorable sunsets in the evenings. The staff overall were generally polite and hardworking, and the location itself is beautiful. However, based on our experience, this did not feel like the luxury resort it is marketed to be. In our opinion, the overall experience aligned more closely with a typical 3-star family resort rather than a true luxury property. Overall, the resort did not fully meet the expectations created by its advertising and pricing. Greater transparency about room conditions and pool heating policies would go a long way toward improving the guest experience.
