  • Buffet breakfast at the Aqua Restaurant (7.30pm to 10.30pm)
  • Lunch buffet and a la carte main course at the Aqua Restaurant or a la carte lunch at the Beach Grill Restaurant (both 12.30pm to 3pm)
  • Dinner buffet and a la carte main course at the Aqua Restaurant, a la carte dinner at the Beach Grill Restaurant, a la carte set dinner menu (for all villa categories, booking required) at the Amazonico Restaurant or a la carte set dinner menu (for all villa categories, booking required) at Le Asiatique (all 7.30pm to 10.30pm)

An unforgettable five-night stay with genuine seven-star hospitality! The warmth at Emerald Maldives clearly starts with the excellent way management cares for its employees. Resort Manager Jude proudly described the team’s compound in the centre of the island as their own internal “Holiday Inn.” That care is reflected in the heartfelt way every employee treats the guests. We travelled with our best friend from Palm Springs, who has aphasia, and the patience, kindness and respect shown to him truly touched us. The food was diverse and exceptional. Alok personally checked on us at every meal and worked with the kitchen to create tailor-made dishes for our special needs—a true feast for our taste buds! Sid was a brilliant personal butler, while Jameel surprised us with a rose-petal bubble bath, champagne and beautiful decorations. The Asian restaurant’s dumplings were the best we have ever tasted! Special thanks also to the always-smiling Chethan, the friendly Shahid, Dr Saurav and sweet nurse Jeenu, who helped with my blocked ears and treated our friend’s injured foot after a jet-ski jump. The beach-bar team made fantastic cocktails adapted to our tastes, and every waiter, cleaner and maintenance employee contributed to an unforgettable stay. We cannot remember every name, but they will know whom we mean. Emerald offers not only luxury, but genuine humanity. It felt like a seven-star resort or cruise ship. Absolutely exceptional!

Our time at Emerald Maldives was truly unforgettable and easily one of the most incredible holidays we’ve ever experienced. From the very first welcome to our final farewell, the entire team made us feel valued and cared for. The level of hospitality was exceptional, and every interaction was warm, genuine, and professional. As we were traveling with our 18-month-old daughter, we especially appreciated how attentive everyone was to her comfort and happiness. The staff consistently went the extra mile, often anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. The culinary experience was outstanding throughout our stay. Whether at the buffet or the à la carte restaurants, every meal was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The variety and quality exceeded our expectations, making every dining experience something to look forward to. The island itself is absolutely stunning. The turquoise lagoon, elegant villas, and pristine surroundings create a peaceful paradise. It’s clear that every aspect of the resort is maintained with remarkable care, allowing guests to completely relax and enjoy every moment. Emerald Maldives delivered an experience that surpassed everything we had hoped for. We leave with unforgettable memories and immense gratitude to the wonderful team—especially Shafiu, KD, Alok, Rohit, Andrea, and Beni—for their outstanding service and genuine kindness. Emerald Maldives is a beautiful resort with some excellent employees, but our stay did not provide a consistent five-star experience. Wisham made a genuine effort to help us and resolve problems. Antony, the tennis coach, was positive and professional, and Brij from the spa also tried hard. The Aqua restaurant had the most reliable food and service, while the beach restaurant was acceptable. The main concerns were substantial. We had repeatedly requested a quiet and safe villa for our family, including a five-year-old child. We were initially placed near aircraft traffic and a steep drop, creating concerns about noise and safety. We were later moved to a villa that appeared cheaper on Booking.com than the category we had originally paid for. The à la carte restaurants were disappointing. Tuna was served severely overcooked and almost burnt on more than one occasion. We also experienced slow service, a burnt meat dish and very poor sushi. In practice, Aqua was the only restaurant where we felt we could eat reliably. The sports programme was poorly organised. A trainer did not attend a scheduled session on the th, and on the th I was told to run by myself instead of receiving a coached running session. A tennis booking was also mishandled: the court and trainer were occupied, we waited around minutes, and the session ended early when another booking arrived. This was particularly unacceptable at approximately EUR per hour. There were also safety concerns. Most common pools appeared to operate without visible lifeguard supervision, and the gym had no visible duty trainer while guests, including children, could access heavy free weights. Housekeeping was inconsistent: dirt remained in corners, cleaning required reminders, bathroom maintenance was delayed, and basic supplies were not replenished. A strong paint- or chemical-like smell from treated wooden surfaces repeatedly caused me to sneeze. The spa and several fitness classes were very average, with limited attention and preparation. The resort has potential, but management needs to improve service consistency, food quality, housekeeping, sports organisation and safety controls.

We had an amazing stay at Emerald Maldives! Everything exceeded our expectations. The island is absolutely beautiful, and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. The food was outstanding with plenty of delicious choices every day. Athu were warm, friendly, and always made us feel welcome. Our villa was spacious, clean, and offered breathtaking ocean views. Every moment felt special, and we truly enjoyed every part of our holiday. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend Emerald Maldives to anyone looking for a perfect tropical getaway!
