Just leaving after an amazing 7-day stay at Emerald Faaufushi. As a solo traveler here to celebrate my 50th birthday, the staff here made me feel so special, from my amazing villa host Tharif to the exceptional food and beverage team, receptionist, housekeeping, etc. This was truly a dream trip, and I cannot wait to come back. I stayed in a sunset overwater bungalow (327) which was exceptional. I could hear the ocean constantly, and having my own sun deck and pool was so worth the splurge. The food at all of the restaurants was incredible - my birthday dinner was at Carnivorous and the team there sang happy birthday and brought me a cake! The weather was much better than I expected - windy but I had 5 great days of sunshine. I used the gym four days of my trip and it was small but nicely appointed. I also enjoyed two spa days - again, exceptional staff and experiences. I can’t recommend this resort enough! Thank you all for making this a dream trip! Hope to see you again soon!

We had an amazing stay at Emerald Faarufushi Resort & Spa and honestly struggled to find any real flaw during our holiday. The resort is stunning, the atmosphere is peaceful and elegant, and the level of service throughout the island was exceptional. A special mention goes to our villa host (Tharif) and to all the waiters and restaurant staff across every venue, in particular a young man with glasses at Mediterraneo whose name unfortunately we cannot . All staff was consistently warm, attentive, friendly and genuinely focused on making guests feel welcome. The attention to detail and customer care really stood out. Food quality was another highlight of the trip. We travel a lot and rarely find an all-inclusive resort with such consistently high standards. The ingredients, presentation and variety were excellent everywhere, but we especially loved the Mediterranean restaurant. A huge compliment to Donny, the sous chef, who did a fantastic job during Chef Moreno’s absence. Every dinner there was memorable, refined and full of flavor. We stayed in a Sunset Pool Villa and absolutely loved it. The privacy, the view, the direct access to the lagoon and the breathtaking sunsets made it feel like a dream. Waking up and ending the day there was truly special. We were also pleasantly surprised by the house reef, which was much better than expected: plenty of fish, beautiful colors and great snorkeling directly from the resort. Overall, Emerald Faarufushi exceeded our expectations in terms of hospitality, food, comfort and overall experience. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxury Maldives experience with genuinely caring staff and outstanding cuisine.

Paraz, who welcomed us at the airport, kindly guided us through our journey while we were comfortable in the lounge. Thanks to Apekcha's thoughtful care, my husband and I were able to enjoy a very comfortable rest. She checked on us every day to ensure we could enjoy a relaxing trip without overexerting ourselves. Sajanie who prepared our honeymoon dinner and breakfast at Aqua Restaurant, recommended delicious menu options so we could enjoy a variety of foods, and we also had many pleasant conversations. Pabbuda, who prepared breakfast and dinner at both Aqua Restaurant and Mediterrano, made us feel at ease with his professional service. Priscilla, whom we met at the massage center, provided us with a lot of information so that we could fully enjoy the experience. Timal, whom we met at Beach Club Grill, was considerate enough to ensure we could enjoy our meal comfortably. I was deeply touched by how thoughtfully Koyena at Beach Club Grill looked after my health. Thanks to them, we created unforgettable and relaxing memories here.

A very special thank you goes to our villa host, Elite, whose exceptional service and heartfelt care made us feel completely at home. He truly elevated our trip and left us deeply touched. We also want to recognize Bey from the Front Office, who showed great kindness and attentiveness throughout our stay. Along with the rest of the staff, everyone was consistently friendly, respectful, and dedicated to making our experience remarkable. Finally, we would like to thank General Manager Patrick for leading such an outstanding team and ensuring every detail of our stay was perfect. Horrible treatment during checkout. This is a nice resort, but the treatment during the checkout was horrible. You are being treated as garbage once you checkout and they make you feel that you are unwanted while you wait for your seaplane. I was traveling with 3 kids and we asked for a late checkout and were not given our room. Although we checked in on 16:00 on the first day, the day before departure we were informed that we need to checkout at 12:00 hrs. There are several issues here: 1- We were only informed the day before about the checkout time and that late checkout was not available. I had a massage appointment at 11:00 on the day of the checkout which was arranged two days prior arranged buy the villa butler. When I got out of the massage, I was told that I must immediately go and pay for extras so I was forced into a rush right after my massage treatment and the whole affect of was gone. 2- Even the villa bike (they have several) was taken away from me as "it is required for the new guests". Those new guests who are given priority will be treated the same way when they are checking out. 3- Personnel from the hotel was waiting in front of the door at 12:01 pressing out to move (we were ready and trying to do a final check of the room). I am not sure if this a single incident but looking at the experience of other members of our travel group, it seems to be an organized treatment towards guests that are checking out. Having travelled around the world and having stayed in so many hotels, this is the first time l have experienced this type of treatment.
