Our stay in the Diamonds Athuruga was absolutely perfect and exceeded all our expectations. The resort itself was amazing, beautifully located, and our water villa was flawless – offering comfort, privacy, and stunning views. There was always something to do, yet everything felt very natural and in harmony with the surroundings. The activities were well thought out and enjoyable: beach volleyball, table tennis, sunset yoga, snorkeling with sharks, kayaking and even windsurfing. The snorkeling directly at the house reef was absolutely breathtaking, with crystal-clear water, vibrant corals, and abundant marine life. The beach and the ocean were simply stunning. The food was diverse and of excellent quality, with a wide selection every day. A very special thank you goes to Nasooh, our waiter at the main restaurant, who took exceptional care of us throughout the entire week. He was always kind, attentive, and genuinely positive, and he truly made our experience unforgettable. All staff members were incredibly friendly and professional, and we felt truly welcomed and well cared for during our entire stay. We did not experience a single negative moment. The only minor downsides were the higher prices of excursions within the resort and a weaker internet connection – which, in the end, turned out to be a blessing and the perfect opportunity for a true digital detox. Overall, this trip was a dream come true. The Maldives were the perfect choice for our honeymoon, and we honestly could not have chosen a better destination. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable experience.

Staying at Diamonds Athuruga was an absolute delight. The service is top-notch – polite, discreet, and always helpful. The food is excellent – fresh, varied, and beautifully presented. And the island’s atmosphere is simply magical: peaceful, surrounded by stunning nature, and full of charm. I spent my birthday there, and it was absolutely unforgettable – the staff took care of every detail and made it truly special. A perfect place to relax and enjoy every moment. Highly recommended!

A sweet small island. We spent here three weeks in July 2025. Why Athuruga Maldives? - a beautiful reef near the beach - warm and clean water - safe entrance to the reef - each Beach Villa has its “own” space in front of it and the most guests respect it - staff very friendly and helpful (thanks, Abdulla :) ) - unfortunately, the beach is currently washed away at some villas - food OK, we have communicated minor defects directly We would definitely like to thank the staff and recommend this island.

Wow!.. what a beautiful place! My favorite was sunrise and sunset, perfect!....the description can go on forever!.. because it was great.The rooms,staff,ocean.. everything! The food?..was great and yummy!
