We had a pleasant stay at Cocoon Maldives, but we left feeling that the overall experience didn’t fully match the price we paid. The main disappointment was the departure day. Our seaplane was scheduled for the afternoon, but we still had to leave our villa at 12:00 PM. The hotel later reduced the late check-out fee to USD 100 until 2:15 PM, which we appreciated, but it still seemed like a lot to pay for just over two extra hours in the room. When guests have no control over their transfer times, a more flexible approach would make the final impression much more positive. We also felt that there was a strong focus on selling additional services throughout the stay. Excursions, upgrades, drinks and other extras were offered frequently, and many of the prices felt excessive. Of course, optional services are normal at a resort, but here it sometimes felt as though every opportunity was used to encourage additional spending. The resort itself is nice. The island is beautiful, the villas are comfortable, the food is good and the staff are always friendly and helpful. However, we never had the feeling that we were staying somewhere truly exceptional. Everything was good, but very little exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed our holiday because the Maldives is an amazing destination, but Cocoon Maldives didn’t leave us with the feeling that it offers outstanding value for money. There are small details that could make a significant difference, and unfortunately those details matter when you’re paying for a luxury experience.

We had a fantastic family holiday at Cocoon Maldives resort. The island is amazingly beautiful and the staff are doing a great job, outstanding hospitality all around the resort. The most friendly people I’ve ever met in any hotel. Thank you all for making our holiday memorable, especially Tei and Nazu in the restaurant, Ali Bee for perfect housekeeping and mostly for Riyaz our super host. We’re happy to meet you all and thank you for the efforts you made for your guests. 🌺 We would definitely come back and highly recommend this resort.

We have just returned from an unforgettable stay at Cocoon Maldives, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything exceeded our expectations. I’ve been coming back to Cocoon Maldives since 2021, and I still look forward to every visit as much as I did the first time. For me, this resort offers everything I could wish for in a holiday: a peaceful atmosphere, total relaxation, beautiful beaches, and fantastic snorkeling, which is one of my favorite activities. What truly makes Cocoon Maldives special is its people. Every member of the staff is genuinely kind, professional, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Over the years, we’ve come to know many of them, and it’s a wonderful feeling to be welcomed back like old friends. Their warmth and dedication create an atmosphere that makes every stay unforgettable. A very special thank you goes to Riyaz, who has become an essential part of our holidays. He is always one step ahead, making sure everything is exactly as we like it. Sometimes it feels as if he can read our minds. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for every guest are truly exceptional, and he is one of the main reasons we keep coming back. Another thing we really appreciate is that the resort never stops improving. Every time we visit, we notice something new. Sometimes it’s a small detail, but those thoughtful improvements make a real difference and show how much the management cares about the guest experience. We’ve visited Cocoon Maldives with our extended family, and everyone—from preschoolers to grandparents has loved it. It is a place where every generation feels welcome and can enjoy a perfect holiday. Cocoon Maldives is much more than a beautiful island—it’s the people who make it unforgettable. We already know we’ll be back again, and we can’t wait for our next visit.
