    This resort was my personal best experience of the Maldives that could’ve been! The hospitality was warm, with staff coming up to us and not just serving, but becoming our friends. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and so many activities and events were available for us. Hassa, our tour guide was so fun, and made our experience so well worth coming. An experience filled with laughs, peace, amazing food, and so much colour. Thank you Centara Grand lagoon staff!

    Our honeymoon at Centara Grand Lagoon was truly unforgettable and an incredible introduction to the Maldives. We spent five nights in a beautiful overwater villa that was spacious, private, and featured an infinity pool with breathtaking sunrise views. The resort itself was peaceful and immaculately maintained, with pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters. From our villa, we regularly saw colorful fish, baby sharks, and stingrays in the evenings, which never got old. The experiences offered made our stay even more special. We went snorkeling, deep-sea fishing, and even had the chance to swim with sharks—each activity was well organized and memorable. On our anniversary, the team went above and beyond by decorating our bed, surprising us with champagne, and arranging a floating breakfast in our private pool, which was an unforgettable touch. The food throughout the resort was excellent. Breakfast at The Gallery offered fresh fruit and a great variety of options, lunches by the pool were relaxed and delicious, and our anniversary dinner at Blue Fin by the beach was simply perfect. Every meal was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection—huge credit to the chefs. What truly elevated our stay was the staff. Everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our honeymoon special. Because of them, every moment felt effortless and meaningful. Centara Grand Lagoon Maldives exceeded all expectations and is easily a 10/10. It was the perfect place to create lifelong memories, and we would not hesitate to return.     I just returned from a five day stay at Centara Grand Lagoon. We were 3 couples and stayed in overwater villas with sunset view. My husband and I have stayed on many resorts before, from Europe to Mexico and many other places in the Caribbean (Aruba, St, Martin, Jamaica, DR, Mexico et.). Everything at Centara Grand Lagoon was exceptional and I’ll breakdown some of the details that my husband and I enjoyed. 1. Centara has a fully enclosed private boat transfer from Male. Reclining, cooling seats including wifi which felt very safe and stable. Our return when we left resort was at night and just as comfortable. It’s a 45 min boat ride. 2. We were immediately greeted by Hassa, our concierge for the 5 days. He booked everything for us, from meals to sending buggies for pick up to even arranging a special birthday celebration for my husband inclusive of a bottle of bubbly and a cake. Hassa was polite and engaging and our shadow if we had questions. 3. Everyone in the resort, whether it was bartenders, cleaning staff, ground maintenance, waiters, even the manager - everyone was polite and always provided top service with big smiles all day. 4. Rooms are big and clean. We stayed all inclusive. The bar, snacks and coffee in room were restocked every day. Imports liquors and beers, as well as comfortable robes, turn down service, slippers and the view you see on social media, yet better because now you’re in it. 5. The food in the buffet was delicious and changed daily. It was our usually lunch and breakfast stop. Top quality fruits, vegetables, meat, fish and so many delicious dishes to choose from. We also enjoyed the Thai restaurant, and Blue Fin fish restaurant. Exceptional all around. 6. We never had to wait for sun loungers either by the beach or pool any day. The bar was accessible by the beach and pool with wait staff at your service every turn. The quiet adult pool was just that, quiet and without bar service so we stayed at the main large pool. 7. Glitch-free wifi from every part of the resort from in your room, on your pool deck or any restaurant. 8. Clean beaches and calm waterfront. Warm and absolutely breathtaking. If you’re thinking about this resort, you will not be disappointed. DB

From the moment we arrived until the very last second of our stay, the staff took incredible care of us and made us feel truly valued and welcomed. A special shoutout to Riri and Bokie from the Gallery Buffet Restaurant — thank you both for looking after us so well. Your kindness, attention, and smiles made every meal feel even more enjoyable. At Coco Drift, the team was just as wonderful. Linda, with her constant smile and warm energy, made us feel at home every single time. The other waiter (sorry didn’t get his name) delivered exceptional service, and the bartender deserves big praise for mixing the best cocktails we’ve had on any holiday. We also want to give a massive thanks to the staff at the Blue Finn à la carte restaurant — their service was absolutely top notch, truly a 10/10 experience. Every detail was perfect. The front desk team was amazing too — friendly, efficient, and always ready to help with anything we needed.
