Just spent a week at this hotel and had a wonderful holiday. The room was large and well equipped. It was cleaned every day to a very high standard. The staff were very friendly and and efficient this hotel is lucky the staff are so good from the cleaners to the receptionists. The food is great with a good selection and the pool bar food is especially good which is unusual for hotels. I would recommend the all inclusive package as everything is included even a free paddle boarding experience. The sunbeds by the pool are always available and there is a good chilled out atmosphere at both pools. The only slight annoyance I had was that you had to sign on receipt of every drink and meal but I must emhasise that this is only a very slight gripe. The entertainment, which wasn't provided every night but often enough was of high quality. So if you want a chilled out, friendly, well run hotel I would definitely recommend the Barcelo Portinaxt.

The hotel is clean, stylishly-decorated and my room was spacious. Near beautiful beaches. The staff are friendly and helpful. Got an early check in which was nice. This review is mainly for the massage at the hotel (at this point I am only a few hours into my 4 night stay) I tried the outdoor spa services and am impressed. I highly recommend the deep tissue message I had by Nereya. It was a mix of the best type of medicine and relaxation. The pool deck was very full so I shared a pool umbrella with the lifeguard/towel service guy and he was polite and helpful. If I were to be critical about what I’ve noticed so far, the Barcelo app is really frustrating. So, management, if you are reading, please improve it.

This is an adults only hotel which offers a quiet peaceful setting at the end of Portinatx ideal for a relaxing stay. We had an apartment on the 4th floor and a large balcony with sun loungers, hot tub, deckchairs and a two person sun lounging bed with sun protection. The staff at the hotel from reception to bar to restaurant to cleaning are all magnificent, really friendly, and they work incredibly hard to make your stay a great one. There are two pools and a pool bar with more loungers, a fitness area and a beach across the road. There is a wellness menu although we only used the morning yoga, but that was excellent. Great walks are adjacent one which we did to the lighthouse offering great views. We would highly recommend the breakfast it was amazing, lots of choice. Overall a lovely hotel in a great position.

We came for our honeymoon and it did not disappoint, from the start we got a welcome drink while they checked us in, gave us cava and strawberries for welcoming of honeymoon, everyone is so polite and the food is amazing. We can’t fault any part of the holiday . We went on a trip and didn’t come back till after dinner was closed, the staff opened dinner hall and we got to have dinner! Thank you so much for the stay xx

Lovely hotel.. can’t fault it. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. Hotel is very clean and rooms have large comfortable beds. Only 4 stars given for location because while the area is very peaceful there is not a lot to do. The bus service runs regularly into the main town, it takes around an hour to get to the old town. This may suit some if you’re looking for a very quiet getaway, however we like the option of activities close by. The hotel is situated very close to a small beach. There are a few bars and restaurants around a 15 minute walk away. All round a very lovely, relaxing stay.
