Our stay at Agua Hotels Sal Vila Verde was truly memorable. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped, making it the perfect place to relax after exploring the island. We were especially impressed by Flávio Pascoa, who responded promptly and clearly to all our questions via email before our arrival, giving us peace of mind and a warm welcome. The hotel staff were attentive and professional throughout our stay, making us feel truly cared for. The location, combined with the thoughtful details in the room and hotel facilities, made our experience even better. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sal Island.

There are buses to Santa Maria but not that often. Rooms are okay. Reception personnel are super friendly. The rooms don’t have WiFi - not ok. Overall, it’s a good place but for the same value you can find a more central location

Room is nice but dirty water is coming from the tap and it feels like a ghost town. 20min walk to the beach and then you can’t even swim in there as it’s not nice. Taxis are 5EUR each to town and shuttle bus does not run that often. Scary at night as there are barely any people, again it’s a ghost town. Still no late checkout possible besides it’s empty

It is not worth the price. They say online, that WiFi ist included, which ist the bare Minimum. But then they want to Charge you extra for WiFi, as the WiFi in the room is Not included. And the room is already totally overpriced and it is misleading. As well the room is dirty and disgusting in the bathroom, it is not clean. You do not even have soap in the bathroom. For "4 Star Level" this is a joke. In off season as well everything is closed in the area, you cannot even get a bottle of water in the evening. For that price, you can get a full Appartement in the City in Santa Maria, which ist nearer to everything and the beach and has better Service. It is like a Ghost City here and it is far away from the city. Bed is okay, but no real blanket and only one available for two people. As well not many towels, No washing Powder, no Shampoo.

Honestly the worst hotel I stayed in my life. You cant say you are a 4 stars hotel when THERE IS NO WIFI IN THE ROOM, even then sell there is. I complained and they gave me an “exceptional modem” which cut the internet every 10 minutes - I have never seen anything like this in my life You can’t say it’s a 4 stars hotel when you go complain about something and unless then manager is there they treat you BAD The kitchen was was infested by little bugs DONT STAY HERE unless it’s your only choice And the restaurant they partner with is always closed which is the only restaurant in this desert of nothing Really, DONT STAY HERE Lastly, I had a cleaning issue at 23:00. I called for help and they said they only had cleaning services from the morning.. a 4 stars hotel has a cleaning service 24/7. This is a 1 or 2 stars hotel maximum
