Restaurant Critique
One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Reception gave us our room key quickly, gave us a quick story about the hotel and even gave us a gift for us to keep. The room was on two floors and both were clean, aesthetically nice, with nice open balconies with a lovely view of the coast. The restaurants are good for food and drink however sometimes, due to the amount of people, it can take a while to be served. I’ve used all the facilities in the hotel (especially the games room w. a large snooker table, table tennis, darts ex.) and every one is great. Would definitely recommend that anyone visiting the area soon should 100% come to Hotel Morebeza!

The location of this hotel is the best, easy walking distance to the main street and town area. Beautiful beach that the hotel is on. One thing: the rooms are dated and do not really look like the photos. They were clean and functional so overall no issue but it is an older property. Worth it for the good location. Breakfast was okay, a lot of options and space. We didn't try the other restaurants. They have some free classes like yoga and Tao which we enjoyed. The staff did not seem overly friendly but we have found this everywhere so perhaps cultural.

Best hotel in Sal. We loved our stay. The hotel is very cozy and comfortable. We really felt very safe in the hotel. Like a little oasis. The three pools are stunning and so is the bar and restaurant. We had a big room with a bath. That was really nice. The beach is practically in your backyard. The hotel even arranged activities throughout the day, such as yoga, dance classes and games. The staff is so friendly and welcoming.

Superb peace. Beach beautiful for lunch daily. 😋 own table lunch and dinner daily. Staff delightful , food fantastic. Board walk one side of hotel and main street the other. Trips with Cape Verde experience 1 day on a yacht, tourcaround Island in private car including lemon shark visit. Lovely suite. Great room lady. Entertainment on a daily board with all activities. You can book and join if you like.

The Morabeza has an excellent beach location close to Santa Maria village. Unfortunately in terms of service and quality of food at Breakfast and Dinners, it is not as good as one may expect. On one occasion staff did not help us organise a tour of the island. On another, grilled fish was served to me severely undercooked and was not at its best in terms of freshness.
