I have just returned from a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel. The room was amazing, spacious, clean and very well looked after by the daily cleaners who did a brilliant job. What stood out to me most about the hotel was the fabulous staff. The team in the restaurant were first class, the service was impeccable every day and always with a smile. Lovely to see that Rafael still works at the hotel he’s great! The bar staff especially Anusha were lovely and so hard working! It was such a joy for me to see that Florentina was working at the hotel in reservations, she is a huge asset to the hotel and has a smile that would light up any guests day! Thank you so much for a truly amazing stay ! I can’t wait to return !!

Just got home from Christmas at the Royal Apollonia in Limosol and I have nothing but praise for the fantastic hotel and all the wonderful teams who looked after us and made our stay enjoyable. The rooms are a decent size, cleaned daily and loads of storage space. The main restaurant area for breakfast (lunch and evening meal), was clean, the team were genuinely nice, amazing and friendly (Zaki, Reda, the 2 girls, the lady on the front desk and the lovely chap who told us off for not having lunch but made us a pizza on our last lunchtime day there) and loads of choice. The evening meals as well, so much to choose from but the best thing was the chocolate mouse cakes, they were amazing. The team on the bar were also fantastic, remembering your room number, remembering your drinks order, also checking if we were OK and needed anything (Anusha and the lovely smiley chap - so sorry forgot his name). And finally the reception team and in particular, Muhammad, absolute pleasure. Very helpful, kind and just a lovely, smiley, friendly person. All in all, a brilliant hotel with brilliant people, this place is brilliant.

The hotel itself has some great facilities. Swimming pool, spa, rooms, restaurants etc. The breakfast was lovely and the food quality superb. We loved that the sea/beach was just a few steps down. What let it down was the service and hospitality. Royal Apollonia, albeit a Greek name, lacks the Greek hospitality we have experienced in places like Cyprus and Greece before. Our welcome was very underwhelming. Some staff were fantastic (breakfast for instance) but 60-70% of our interactions were average for the quality of the hotel itself . The bar experience was not the best. There was a chap by the towel stand by the pool who was lacking friendliness. My wife, who was hoping to practice her Greek was unable to speak to anyone as hardly anyone spoke Greek and when she tried sometimes she got a blunt response ‘I don’t speak Greek, speak English please’. Hotel itself was great, but service was mediocre. I’d expect more for the price we paid. Really hoping the Greek hospitality is not lost. I would give this a 3.5 but can only do a 3 or 4.

The hotel is lovely. It has everything you could want. Nice and peaceful. No pool games or loud music! The food is very sophisticated and well made. Buffet breakfast is constantly refilled and has everything I could think of. Waiter service for tea coffee etc so that saves you keep getting up for a cup of tea. Pool area is great. All kept very clean and tidy with plenty of space and sun beds. Nice pool but a bit cold in October. The beach is small but private and has sunbeds. Sea warm and clean. Reception staff are brilliant they are very helpful and knowledgeable. Bus times, directions, advice and suggestions for places to go. The hotel has a main road at the back and we asked to move rooms. Diana and Mahmoud were amazing. They could not have done more for us. They hand delivered the key for a beautiful sea view room and were so kind and helpful. They genuinely wanted to ensure we had the best holiday. Nothing was too much trouble. Great staff and an asset to the company. Limassol itself was not to our taste. Very built up with lots of graffiti but did feel safe for walking. Buses very easy to use and lots of taxis available. Gurlalou

The room was spacious and very clean. Toiletries and slippers were provided, which was a nice touch. The coffee machine was a big plus, and it was replenished daily along with a complimentary water. Housekeeping cleaned the room twice a day, which was excellent. Thank you for the chocolates The indoor swimming pool, sauna, and steam bath were great bonuses and added to the overall comfort of the stay. I opted for the half-board package, and both breakfast and dinner offered a wide variety of delicious food. Special thanks to Sangita and Sanjay at aura dining for being so helpful and kind throughout my stay. If given the chance, I would be highly likely to come back again.
