We had the best time at this resort. It was so peaceful and full of beautiful plants and animals. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and just a small walk across the street. The food was slightly repetitive, but still well prepared every time. The service is where this resort shines. The people who work here are genuine and kind. Kevan, the lifeguard was such a great help to us by making sure we had the best time. He was courteous, helpful, friendly and funny. Travis was another awesome employee we met. He worked security and always had a smile ready, and offered any information we needed to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. The ladies and gentlemen at the front desk were so pleasant, even though we bugged them so often. We had a wonderful time and are already dreaming of the day we return. This was our honeymoon, and it was absolutely amazing. Thank you to the staff!!!

The Perfect Experience. Ambience 10/10 Service 10/10 not a hotel. Staff makes you feel like Family, the other guest are extended family. shoutout to Ireland, Canada, Kentucky and North Carolina. The resort is so incredible, your staying in your own jungle paradise. The rooms give so much privacy and the A/C unit is a beast when its hitting 85 and 95% humidity. For being under the canopy Lynford keeps the grounds immaculate, not a fallen stick, palm branch, or leaf. The sounds of nature and the piano man are what ppl think of when they say "Take me back". Best Sunset and Best kept Secret.

My husband and I absolutely love Sunset At The Palms and try to get there each year for our anniversary. If you're looking for a huge resort with a dozen restaurants, wild nightlife, and a million chairs on the beach, this probably isn't the place for you. But if your jam is unique rooms set amongst palm trees and other tropical plants, falling asleep to the sounds of tree frogs, and a private beach, this might be the place for you. There are so many reasons to love SATP, and here are a few: The friendly, smiling staff making you feel welcome at every turn Every room is a treehouse The beautiful beach for guests only Beach sunsets Great food The gorgeous grounds Jiggy coffee You can request a hummingbird feeder for your balcony and watch hummingbirds right there! The massages at the spa Truly, there's just some kind of hidden magic here, and it's why we keep returning.

An Unforgettable Honeymoon Getaway at Sunset at the Palms My husband and I recently stayed at Sunset at the Palms for our honeymoon, and I have to say, it was just the perfect choice for a quiet, romantic getaway. If you’re looking for a couples-oriented resort that feels intimate and welcoming, this is definitely the place. The entire resort was so clean, charming, and inviting. It’s a beautifully maintained property, and the intimate atmosphere made it feel like a little slice of paradise just for us. We especially loved how the pool stayed open until 1 AM, which added a nice touch for those late-night swims. I have to give a huge shoutout to some of the staff who made our stay extra special. Navado, the bartender, was hands-down amazing. Suggestion keep him at the pool bar. It’s kind of boring when he’s not there. Our favorite server, Andrice, was so lovely and beautiful in spirit. I appreciate the way she stepped in for her rude co-worker. He was the least favorite part of the stay, a true bummer when he was our server. But the one bad apple did not spoil this bunch but is the main reason for the 4/5 would’ve been 5/5 otherwise. Kaytann, the front desk manager, was incredibly helpful and kind throughout our stay. Even the gardener, Lyndell, gave us a wonderful tour of the gardens, and we learned so much about the local plants and herbs.10/10 It was definitely a highlight. Now, about the beach—initially, I was a little worried because it’s not directly beachfront; you have to take a short walk. But honestly, that turned out to be a nice little activity in itself. The water was clear, the sand was white, and the sunsets were absolutely stunning. We can’t wait to make this an annual tradition. The food overall was great, and the chefs did a wonderful job. We especially enjoyed the Chef’s Corner. I wish is that they’d serve traditional Jamaican dishes like ackee and saltfish more regularly instead of just on certain nights. Sometimes resorts lean a bit too Americanized with the menu, and I’d have loved to see more local flavors like stewed turkey or stewed chicken options. But that’s just a small note—everything we had was still delicious. I also would’ve loved if they offered lobster and crab options for seafood, it was mainly fish. But there are many local vendor’s located on beach or take a boat ride to Booby Cay Island. Make sure to price check for transportation there we were definitely over charged to go there. But that is no reflection of the resort, just wanted to throw that in. Check out the shoppes as well. Cute cute things. In summary, Sunset at the Palms made us feel like family, and we’re definitely planning to return. If you’re considering it, just go—you won’t regret it!

If you want a small personal resort experience this is it! No concrete jungle here just 75 rooms and everything is very personal! The beach and pool are small but we always had covered seats on the beach and poolside seating was easy as well. Met great people both at the resort and the guests. The food was very good and whatever you wanted was was taken care of! It's not what people think of when "resort" comes to mind but it is one of the best weeks I've had in a long time!
