We had an exceptional experience thanks to Arshad. From the moment we arrived until our departure, he was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive to every detail. We absolutely loved our stay in an ocean view overwater villa. The resort was located an easy 20 min speed boat ride from Male airport with pick-up and drop off seamlessly undertaken. Our GEM was easy and flexible to work with our comms style and looked after us. The rest of the resort’s staff were kind and genuine in their engagement with us. The food was simply the best I have had at any resort and the chef and team should be proud. The view from our villa was gorgeous and we enjoyed cycling around the island. This was one of the best resort stays I’ve ever had. The Ocean Overwater Villa at SO/ Maldives is a dream; private, peaceful and unbelievably beautiful. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. We got in earlier than check-in time and the team accommodated us with an early check-in and even before the villa was ready they welcomed us to enjoy the resort facilities, including the beach club which made the arrival experience feel effortless. The staff were consistently respectful, helpful and warm in every interaction. A special thank you to Sue who was outstanding, attentive, proactive and always ready to help with a smile. An amazing paradise only 15 mins by speedboat from Malé international airport. Every aspect was perfect from the fabulous food, and perfect facilities to the AMAZING staff that absolutely make this place feel so special. Every single member of the staff team were extremely friendly and helpful. They all made our stay so perfect. But a few standouts require particular mention: Sue our GEM (Guest Experience Manager) looked after us perfectly. We could not have wished to meet such a caring, friendly and kind young lady who provided impeccable service, always with a smile. Thank you Sue for making our stay quite perfect. Luna, Mahudhee and Ashraf on the restaurant team always took time to speak with us, showed a genuine interest and offered kind and friendly advice. They are an asset to the staff team. Lastly, to the chefs that produced the most amazing food with delicate flavours and local influences. Having lived previously in Paris for over 4 years we could even say that the pâtisseries and cakes here were better than any we had experienced before. Well done SO/ Maldives, you were the best.
