An amazing paradise only 15 mins by speedboat from Malé international airport. Every aspect was perfect from the fabulous food, and perfect facilities to the AMAZING staff that absolutely make this place feel so special. Every single member of the staff team were extremely friendly and helpful. They all made our stay so perfect. But a few standouts require particular mention: Sue our GEM (Guest Experience Manager) looked after us perfectly. We could not have wished to meet such a caring, friendly and kind young lady who provided impeccable service, always with a smile. Thank you Sue for making our stay quite perfect. Luna, Mahudhee and Ashraf on the restaurant team always took time to speak with us, showed a genuine interest and offered kind and friendly advice. They are an asset to the staff team. Lastly, to the chefs that produced the most amazing food with delicate flavours and local influences. Having lived previously in Paris for over 4 years we could even say that the pâtisseries and cakes here were better than any we had experienced before. Well done SO/ Maldives, you were the best. We had the most amazing stay at So Maldives Resort! The location is absolutely stunning — crystal-clear water, white sand beaches, and beautiful views everywhere you look. We stayed in the over water villa and the room was beautiful, modern and had stunning views from the deck. The food was outstanding — flavorful and the portions are generous! A huge thank you to Arshad and Luna for making our stay extra special! They were so friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. Highly recommend So Maldives to anyone looking for luxury, relaxation, and unforgettable memories!

From the time we were picked up from the airport, to our departure from Male, the attention to detail of the staff at SO/ was fantastic. We were welcomed by the friendly staff and shown around the resort by our entertainment manager before being to taken to our room which was beautifully set out, bright, fresh and clean and had everything we needed. The food at the resort was beautiful and the staff, again, were very attentive and the service was excellent. Our entertainment manager booked our meals and experiences for us. We used the gym, daily, which was well equipped and well stocked with cold water and towels. Having someone to help navigate the Departures in the airport was extremely helpful. It was nice to meet Olivier as he introduced himself to guests. We enjoyed every moment of our experience at SO/ and would definitely recommend it to anyone wishing to visit The Maldives. We have no criticisms at all, our stay was perfect! (Just a shame Australia isn't closer!)

Our stay at SO/ Maldives was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we stepped off the boat, we were welcomed with warm smiles and impeccable service that set the tone for the entire trip. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt cared for, relaxed, and completely at home. The rooms are absolutely stunning—modern, spacious, and beautifully designed with breathtaking ocean views. Every detail felt carefully curated, from the luxurious bedding to the private outdoor space perfect for taking in the sunset. It truly felt like our own secluded slice of paradise. The location is unmatched. Crystal-clear turquoise water, pristine beaches, and lush surroundings make it feel like a dream. Whether we were lounging by our villa, snorkeling steps from shore, or exploring the island, every moment felt magical. And the food—just incredible. Every meal was a standout, whether it was a beautifully presented breakfast by the sea or a dinner packed with bold, fresh flavors. There was something delicious for every taste, and the chefs clearly take pride in their craft. SO/ Maldives delivers a world-class experience in every way. If you’re looking for luxury, relaxation, and exceptional hospitality, this resort is truly in a league of its own. We can’t wait to return one day!

We booked 5 days in an over the ocean villa. The whole experience was detail oriented and executed to perfection. From pick up at the airport, through accommodating us the entirety of our stay, to returning and assisting us through the airport, our every need was anticipated and planned for. Our GEM, Ahsan, was thorough, friendly and so very helpful. Luna and Naim were two of the many staff members who provided excellent service at the island restaurants. The bartender at the dock was top notch as well! Our villa was immaculate. Clean, beautifully appointed and well stocked. The room attendants kept everything tidy and replenished daily. I have never experienced a more relaxing and serene vacation than I had at SO/Maldives. In addition there was constant communication/reminders leading up to our arrival that helped know what to expect. I highly recommend this resort for its level of hospitality and comfort!
