Our stay at the hotel was very enjoyable and met our expectations, particularly the dining experience. The Christmas gala dinner was SUPERB: great menu and carefully prepared dishes. Service was efficient and well organized which made the night feel special and relaxed. I loved the singer! The breakfast was excellent. A great way to start the day. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with good a bed. Everything was well maintained, with no noticeable issues. The staff deserve special mention for their friendliness and professionalism. From reception to the restaurant, especially Salah. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money. We'll be back!

“I recommend this place. I spent 9 nights here and had a fantastic stay. Special thanks go to Chef Luis – his dishes were so delicious that I looked forward to dinner every single day. In my opinion, his talent and passion for cooking deserve the highest recognition. I would also like to sincerely thank the wonderful waitress Cedrēs for her professionalism, kindness, and excellent service throughout our stay. Thanks to staff like them, this place leaves truly unforgettable memories. I would be delighted to return in the future!”

Positive things to say about this hotel are the rooms. They’re big with comfy beds. A little kitchen that has a microwave kettle toaster and hob is really useful for making some lunch or having tea and toast. Quiet and calm through the day being an adult only hotel. Friendly waiters in the restaurant and good food on the menu the starters & desserts are buffet choice also soup salads and cheeses to choose from. I still think that when paying for half board all soft drinks or at least a water should be free with the evening meal. The only 2 negative things I have to say is the location which is in a high mountain so when walking to shops bars restaurants there’s about 30 sets of steep steps to climb up and down which is very tiring. And the beach is a 20min walk down the steps and along the road, always got a taxi back costing 4 euros. The nearby entertainment and bars are very loud so you can expect to hear noise until 4am I had to have my earplugs in and air con on to drown out a bit of the noise. Wouldn’t stay here again because of the steps and the night noise.

This is our 8th visit to Servatur Casablanca in Gran Canaria and it is our ‘Casa Española’ The welcome back each time is incredible- special thanks to Christina & Alberto for ensuring our wedding anniversary was super special - ensured we had champagne & chocolates in our room ( given our favourite room 414 😊), candlelit dinner.Alberto is the ‘host with the mostest’ in the dining area and he is always so happy and welcoming, ensures everything is perfect for you….. special thanks for tweaking my menu choices so I could try more dishes Alberto ! Rueben, Sylvia, Christina are like family now and we adore you all! Special thanks to our cleaner ‘ he didn’t have his badge on to get his name’ but he is so meticulous & you know when he has cleaned your room -a huge thankyou to you all 👌 See you all very soon Evangeline & Doug Girling

I would like to give this hotel a better review, but unfortunately the marketing pictures and reality do not match. I had an "okay" experience, and I would stay here again if I had no other choices, but there are definitely better places to stay. This is a typical Canary Islands hotel where everything is worn down, and places are not in a very good condition, and the age of the premises is very apparent. There's nothing major wrong, but when one looks at the details, you'll notice that a full and complete renovation is way overdue already. Small things here and there broken, or just extremely old and sad-looking, other things very dirty with a closer look and should have been replaced a long time ago. The spa section was a complete joke. There is literally paint falling off the ceiling to the swimming pool. Nobody cares - Welcome to Canaries. The gym was also rather hazardous since there was no a/c to speak of, and the temperature was around 30C in the gym room. Extremely poor WiFi at the corner room. Can't do anything with that. Location of the hotel is on top of a steep hill, but still very centrally located, so if you don't mind walking the 100-200 steps uphill, then you're fine, but you can't go out to the town just for fun back-and-forth many times a day since the walk is hard when it's hot ouside. Still, many other hotels in the village have a much poorer location (you don't need a taxi to get to this one). Note that parking can be a problem - the hotel has only a handful of parking spots which are all extremely tight, and street parking can be limited. We had no issues, but noticed that on some occasions all spots were taken. On the positive side, the rooms were relatively quiet, considering the close location of the village's central white-trash-bar-area just downhill. A/C, while really old looking, worked well enough. And the breakfast was as expected - nothing fancy, but completely adequate for the location. Also the pool area, while really small, had enough sunbeds. And most importantly the hotel is located on the "correct" side of the valley making the sun shine to your balcony for the entire day (so perhaps no need to go to the pool at all?). In comparison to the better high-class resorts in the islands, this is perhaps a "local standard". It's okay if you don't expect too much, and get a reasonable (100€/night) price. Mixed experience of good and bad.
