The trip was great! We have been to other all-inclusive resorts and really appreciated how the staff made it such a fun and relaxing stay! I was so grateful for JT one of the photographers, to capture such a special time for my husband and I! His photos were beautiful, but more than that he was just a fun person to interact with that made the trip unique. The food was great! The weather was awesome! Would definitely go back!

They work hard to make things perfect. Sandals Resorts just knows how to make vacations easy. This is a beautiful resort with amazing gardens. The original resort is on Caribbean side and the newer resort is on the Mediterranean side. Both are very nice and have different things to offer. The resort is large and so walking is great. We got a lot of steps in! The beach is stunning with powdery white sand and warm water. I had read that people found public beach was difficult because of people selling stuff. They would try to invite us to look, but it was a feature for us that we enjoyed. (NOt a negative.) The people on the beach were friendly and kind. Snorkeling in the water right off the beach didn't have as many fish as we've seen at other Sandals resorts. If you want to snorkel, go to water-sports and let them take you to better viewing spots. We found the resort to be spotless and well maintained. The food quality and flavors are excellent and the staff is amazingly friendly and good at what they do. We adore Rochelle at the Barefoot Restaurant. She was delightful And took great care of us. The main pool was active, but not too loud. The pool entertainment staff were fun and great at keeping things engaging. Sailboats were fun. There was good wind for sailing, but it wasn't blustery on the resort. The gym was clean and updated with nice equipment, free weights and floor exercise equipment.

We spent a wonderful six nights at Sandals Antigua. Highlights: —Our butlers, Sefra, Marvin, and Geoffrey, went above and beyond to make sure we had a special and relaxing vacation. They even decorated our room for my husband’s birthday! We’ve had butler rooms at several Sandals and this was an exceptional team. —The beach in Dickerson Bay had beautiful, calm water. The beach itself is long and great for walking, and the water was perfect for activities like the hobie cats. —Teddy at Kimono’s was a spectacular chef, and Mickory made great eggs and omelettes at breakfast —Our room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the water, probably the best view we’ve had at any Sandals —The antipasto buffet at Mario’s was absolutely delicious Possible improvements: —If you’re used to the more modern Sandals resorts, the furniture and decor at this one is more dated. We didn’t mind it but it’s something to keep in mind. I think renovations are planned. —While the food generally was as good as or better than other Sandals, we didn’t think the desserts were very good. —I wish there were non-pork protein options at breakfast (like chicken sausage), and that there was more variety in the breakfast buffet, which basically was the same every day. —It would be helpful to have an ATM onsite to make tipping easier

We had an amazing 2 week holiday celebrating my mums 60th birthday. Although we found the rooms were a little tired, the staff, location and gardens/grounds far outweighed this! The staff were great and in the main extremely friendly and chatty. All our Bulters Kevin, Larissa and Dylan were fantastic, particularly Larissa who didn’t forget a thing. Other particularly great staff we met: Genieve Angeline Akilah Jernesia Violet Cesar in kimonos chef Krishna from management Ja moi - photographer Kadeem - barman There were a few exceptions, receptionists (apart from the lovely lady that had worked at Sandals 25+ years), cafe du paris, omelette station chef in mornings (both restaurants) and the watersports team that sat on the beach. Massages were very expensive but very good Gym was best hotel we’ve been too. Food was very good but not exceptional. Some of the entertainment started a little late and we were too tired to watch! Room lacked TLC and needed a refresh, some of the corners etc needed a scrub but otherwise very clean and comfortable and much better than we had expected from reviews and photos online! Loved having all fhe extra towels. Pools were lovely, pickleball courts great. Music was a little too loud for us at the pools. We loved the cats and cat cafes Disappointed there was no motorised watersports (not clear on website) Overall we had a brilliant stay and would recommend and return on basis of staff and grounds. Thank you very much.

The Grande Antigua is a beautiful hotel with fantastic staff who are very friendly, very knowledgeable and very, very helpful. Every member of staff is always smiling and looking to help you at all times. The facilities are excellent with the most amazing beach. The food at all the restaurants is very varied and always excellent. I would unreservedly recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. My wife and I are already planning to return and we have only been here a couple of days!
