In a word, everything has been amazing so far. I've stayed and vacationed in many places, and this place has incredible architecture and a breathtaking natural landscape that surpasses everything else. The food is also quite good, with a great variety. The infinity pool is arguably the best I've ever seen, and since we also toured around the island, I can say it's the most classy location. I'm surprised by the things people complain about; the swallows' nests are so beautiful, I wish there were more cats in this atmosphere too! :) I would also like to thank Mr. Poligaros or oligaros :) because his welcoming us at the door, taking us to our room, and giving us detailed descriptions of the hotel made us feel like we had come to a wonderful place from the first impression. Besides the pool, the beach is also fantastic, and the promenade is quite cinematic. The staff are incredibly polite and respectful; I mean, no matter who you are, people are much better off being respectful and polite. Definitely enjoy it and have a good time.

What an amazing hotel! We’re leaving tonight after spending a wonderful week enjoying everything this beautiful hotel has to offer. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the chef deserves a special mention for the delicious food. We chose the all-inclusive package and loved the fantastic variety of meals throughout our stay. I also treated myself to three wonderful spa treatments, which were so relaxing. A special thank you to Susanna in the restaurant, who always made us feel so welcome. She remembered our favourite drinks every day and took the time to ask how our day had been, which made our stay feel even more personal. It was also a real pleasure to dine at the Mediterranean restaurant overlooking the stunning infinity pool and the beautiful sea beyond. The food, service, and attention to detail were all exceptional. Thank you to everyone for making our holiday so memorable especially the chef. We’ve had a wonderful week in the sunshine and can't wait to return!

Like many others we got sick while stating at this hotel. Could have been a bug caught at the airport but seems odd so many are reporting this. Hotel has all the raw materials to be fabulous but somehow let's itself down. We come to Greece for a Greek experience but the staff are mostly not Greek and the hotel is remote so really we could have been anywhere. Front desk staff were abrupt to the point of rudeness. We asked 3 times for some decaf coffee for the room, each time we were assured it would be delivered but it never arrived. We needed more toilet paper late at night (see above), best front desk would do was suggest I unroll some from reception toilet. Honestly, hardly 5 star stuff. Also, as a note of caution, of you pay for a sea view room, you get a room where you can see the sea. For any of the 4 block with a direct view it seems you have to pay more again. Rooms was nice, pool stunning.

I just came back after staying there for a week. This is our second trip to Kos and Michalangelo Resort & Spa. We had a great stay once again and this is exactly the place for anyone who seeks to just take it slow, rest, enjoy good food and a great view with perhaps the best infinity pool I have ever seen. A bit far from the Kos town but there are busses just outside the hotel. I enjoyed every moment of my stay at this hotel and I would like to thank and give my warmest gratitue to the general manager of the hotel, Katia at the reception and especially Alina at the beach bar. What a lovely lady she is, both me and my wife are grateful to have to get to know her! Hope to visit again in the future

Overall, this hotel was good with good service and food however, a few things were a let down. We wanted to use the spa pool which is stated as “heated” on their website and on their app. To our surprise, it’s not heated. After asking the staff they said you have to go into the steam room and then go into the pool. This doesn’t mean it’s a heated pool. The outside pool was way too cold to swim so we didn’t actually end up swimming the entire 10 days we were there. We decided to book tennis one day using the app however, after getting to the court there was a queue to use it. After going to reception to tell them they said to come back another day. Just a warning to people booking this hotel, if you’re wanting to book tennis then don’t bother it’s a chance of luck to get onto the court. The bar was great. Paying for all inclusive was definitely worth the money so this was a great positive. The food each night was also nice however, they don’t cover up the bread through the day and birds fly around the dining hall and were landing on the bread so we didn’t eat any of it. Entertainment each night was a little lacklustre. Some things are repeated. Surprised we didn’t see bingo as it’s quite popular in most hotels. The hotel room was really nice. We payed for a premium sea view room which was worth the money. The only thing that was annoying was the shower wasn’t sealed so water kept leaking outside the shower making the floor really wet and we had to use a lot of towels to clean it up every time. The phone also didn’t work so we couldn’t order room service or call the front desk. Even after we complained they said they’d send up maintenance which never happened. The TV in the room is also only in Greek which, I understand is because we were in a Greece country however, the subtitles weren’t working so we couldn’t watch tv at night. We had our room cleaned every day with fresh sheets on the bed which was great however, the only thing that was a little annoying was when you put the “do not disturb” sign on the door, they completely ignored it. On some days we didn’t want to be disturbed but we felt rushed to leave whilst they made up the bed. Overall, I’d say this hotel is really nice but it’s not 5 star quality and service which we were expecting. I would say if you’re wanting a chill holiday, this one is for you. I would HIGHLY recommend to rent a car as there’s not much to do close by the hotel and once you have been in KOS town for a few days, it gets a little boring. You can’t get to the other side of the island without driving as there’s no buses that go there and taxis are incredibly expensive. We were quoted 80 euros to travel 30 mins down the road and 80-90 euros on the way back.
