A very beautiful hotel with plenty of space. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive to guests’ needs. We especially enjoyed the food at Mosaico - breakfasts and lunches offered similar dishes, but the themed dinners with different cuisines were excellent. Our favorite was probably the Cabo Verdean dinner. I also really enjoyed the Ayurveda Tea Program - it was so tasty!

A very nice hotel. Rooms were spacious. Pools and surrounding areas clean and tidy. Good food selection at meal time although the service did drop off towards the end of our stay. Very helpful staff who were very accomadating.

This was my first time at this resort. I will definitely be back. I stayed for 7 days but could have stayed longer. I love the fact that it’s children free. The staff are very attentive and welcoming. The rooms are nice and cleaned and restocked often depending on when you want. I came to relax but there are many activities scheduled to do daily if you are interested. In the evenings there are also performances. There is a Bob Marley bar and bikini beach bar by the beach if you please. The food was okay; majority was bland but I guess it’s because it caters to mostly bland tourists. It would have been better to get a feel of the Cabo Verde flavours and cuisines at the hotel. It’s a great location. 10 mins away from Santa Maria. And 15 mins away from the airport. (There are a few cockroaches here and there but what do you expect. If you let them be they will let you be. I’m sure the hotel is working on getting rid of them.) I can’t wait to be back. See you guys soon.

AVOID!!!! We booked this hotel through TUI several months ago. TUI contacted us four days before we were due to fly saying the hotel can no longer accommodate us so we had to cancel our entire holiday. At the time there was still availability on the hotels website. TUI were no help either so I'd avoid booking anything through them again. I don't know whether this hotel simply overbooks and cancels bookings at the last minute or the hotel is genuinely shut. Either way I can't think of many acceptable situations where they would cancel your stay at such short notice. Don't book this hotel unless you want to run the risk of having them cancel days before you're due to stay.

We stayed for a week. All depends on your expectations and previous experiences. If you expect 5* it is far from, but the room was clean, location is good, beach is great, service lacks attentiveness and genuine care. Food average, but edible and drinks made from local alcohol and everything is extremely sweet and artificial. Some of entertainment was good, but on the whole very repetitive. If you've seen it once, you've seen the lot. Live music on some nights which we enjoyed. Swim up rooms are overlooked from rooms above therefore not private. Lots smokers around and hotel should have designated areas for smoking and should not allow to smoke on balconies or around the pool as it can get really annoying. Hotel also has some signs of tired looking with low water pressure and often water being luke warm when a lot of people are getting ready for dinner. We would still consider returning, we would compromise on above for adults only, but if you are unlucky you will get some nuisance from other guests (loud music/smoking).
