The perfect resort IMO. Just got back from 7 days. We did the all inclusive and thought it was a good value as we spent all days on the beach (eating and drinking) and ate onsite all but one night. The restaurants are all delicious. There are a few dishes at each place that cost extra with the AI - but minimal. If you are looking for a place with an active pool and daily activities - this is not it. This place is for relaxing at one of the best beaches on the island. It is a public beach - so anyone can enjoy it - but the staff is good to make sure the palappas are for guests only. And the ratio of rooms to chairs is close to 1:1 - so we never had trouble finding a spot The rooms are nice - nothing lavish. I would say skip ocean front and go ocean view - as the rooms are all about 100 yards from the beach All staff was awesome but Julian on the beach was amazing. Made every day awesome ! Props to him for his wit and attention to detail !

I have stayed at Manchebo Beach Resort for the past four years, primarily because of its location on Eagle Beach, which remains one of the most beautiful beaches in Aruba. Unfortunately, this visit will be my last stay at the resort. At nearly $900 per night, the property feels outdated for the price point. While the front desk staff continues to be friendly and welcoming, the overall level of service from other staff members has noticeably declined compared to previous years. There appears to be little incentive for repeat guests to return beyond the modest loyalty discount, and the value no longer aligns with the cost. My biggest disappointment relates to the beach experience. I fully understand and respect that all beaches in Aruba are public. However, during my stay at Manchebo, there were consistently more non-guests occupying the palapas than resort guests. Security presence seemed ineffective, and it was unclear what role, if any, beach security was actively playing. As someone who enjoys early mornings, I regularly went to the beach to secure a spot. During this time, I had repeated interactions with a beach supervisor named William, who was consistently rude and unprofessional throughout the week. His tone and attitude were dismissive, and he frequently placed towels on front-row palapas as early as 5:30 a.m., marking them as “reserved.” Despite being a paying guest staying at the resort for a full week, I was unable to access a desirable spot on multiple occasions. While I understand that staff may be under pressure, professionalism and respectful communication should be a basic expectation at a resort of this caliber. Guests should not feel uncomfortable or unwelcome, regardless of who else is using the public beach. For a relatively small resort with access to such a large beach, the area felt unusually crowded and poorly managed. Given the price being charged, there are many other accommodations nearby that offer better value while still allowing guests to enjoy Eagle Beach in a respectful and enjoyable way. Manchebo would benefit from returning to the basics: consistent service standards, effective security presence, and staff training focused on guest interaction and professionalism. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet the expectations set by my previous experiences.

My wife and I stayed at Manchebo for our honeymoon in October. This was our first time in Aruba and we could not even begin to say enough about the kind and hard working people here that made this the best time of our lives. We had to cancel our honeymoon in 2021 being frontline healthcare workers. We were treated like celebrities! From Andrew who greeted us with a smile and the best tips on where to go, to the head Chef Jeffrey who came for every meal to assure I could have the most delicious food despite having celiacs disease. The hotel is so clean and beautiful. We had dinner on the beach as part of our honeymoon package and was honestly the best meal we have ever had! This is a hidden gem in Aruba and everyone will forever be a part of our hearts and memories. We hope to be back in the next few years. Sending love from NY to our Manchebo “family”. Tip the staff well. They work so hard and deserve every bit of it! - Erin and Chelsea

My husband and I stayed at Machebo Beach Report from Nov. 27 through Dec. 2, 2025. The visit was perfect! The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. The room, a garden-view one, was spacious and had fantastic air conditioning. And the on-site food options were great! Plus, of course, the beach was exactly what we have come to hope for and love about our visits to Aruba--white sands, immediate access to the water, and plenty of palapas. Also, the bartenders who helped us (Liz and Diana) were fantastic and made great drinks! We've been to Aruba three times prior but this was our first visit to this resort. Odds are that we will likely plan to stay here again during our next visit!

⭐️ 3.5/5 — Would return with lower expectations We paid over $800/night booking a few months in advance and knew we were overpaying due to supply and demand. That said, it’s important to know you’re paying for the beach and location, not the hotel itself. Pros: • Small, quiet hotel • Easy walk to a stunning beach (about 2 minutes) • Extremely friendly and helpful staff • Beautiful, well-kept grounds • Restaurants, coffee shop, and convenience store right outside • Nice touch: free cooler to borrow Cons: • Rooms are small and dated • Furniture and linens are very tired • Clean, but not at the level expected for the price • We had to change rooms; the second room had a mildew smell and ceiling spots, clearly from a past moisture issue • Very few amenities for the cost (no snorkel rentals, shuttle, or beach bags) Bottom line: Great beach, great location, and kind staff — but the hotel itself doesn’t match the price. I’d return, but only with adjusted expectations.
