Rooms are large, very nice beach with lots of chairs, close to downtown. However the room had a very bad musty smell even with the dehumidifier and the cleaning staff did the bare minimum skipping over stuff. Wifi, including there “elite” Wifi, was so terrible it was not usable so we needed to turn on cellular roaming instead (roaming charges). Concierge took our money for booking rental cars (1 jeep and then 1 car), but did not follow up with rental company until we inquired why the car had not shown up causing delays and frustration both times, they only provided excuses. They did not take our security seriously, the lock on our adjoining door was broken and it took four days of constant complaints before they address the issue and replace the lock. They do not answer the phone (front desk, concierge, house keeping and 0). One day we had no water and everyone from our buildings had to walk to the reception to inform them and find out what was happening. Same happened when the microwave tripped a circuit breaker, I needed to walk to reception to have it addressed. Golf course was in rough shape, there was so much sand on the green (to fill all the holes of missing grass) it felt like a sand trap not a green. Worst of all the staff is at best indifferent and at worst rude. ‼️ Warning they lie about their timeshare program, do not waste your money! Talk to all the people around the pool who regret signing up before making a decision. Unfortunately I could keep going with my list of issues but my fingers are getting tired with all the typing so I will leave it at that.

Aruba is beautiful. The weather and beaches are lovely. The “highrise” area is bustling. The Divi is not. It’s very quiet, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but not what we expected. The golf course is better than many reviews suggest and we thoroughly enjoyed it. However, overall, the service was terrible. Almost every employee is very aloof. They don’t know how to smile. Everything is in slow motion, or not at all. Repeated requests are needed for everything - from maintenance re air conditioning to towels that were not replaced by cleaners to questions about charges on the bill. We spent way too much time trying to get them to solve problems, some of which never got done. We had questions about included gratuities; we asked six different people how this worked and got six different answers, which felt quite slimy. We’d go back to Aruba, but not Divi.

Just visited Divi Village for the third time and had a blast as always. The infinity pool and swim up bar can’t be beat, especially at happy hour. I am also always impressed by the staff. I want to give special recognition to Irwin W. always helping us find a taxi, not to mention he even took incredible group photos for us when we were all dressed up! Abigail A. at the front desk was also super helpful and friendly. The rooms are nice but I do think they would benefit from a little bit deeper cleaning. For example, the blades of our fan were covered in a thick layer of dust, and I noticed some signs of water damage in the bathroom (especially because of the open layout of the shower). However, the amount of space we had (we had a 1-bedroom unit which had 1.5 baths and a pull-out couch) was a great value for what we paid. The large balcony was nice as well.

I stayed in the Residences which has a great view of the golf course. The studio is very spacious with a well stocked kitchen, washer & dryer and patio. The room was musty smelling and moderately outdated. We were without hot water for 3 days and the Divi wasn't quick to fix it. Finding chairs at the Infinity Pool is like a scene from the Hunger Games. We witnessed several very angry alterations over saving Pool lounges. The Divi needs to do something about their lounge saving policy and then enforce it. A plus is the transportation between all three resorts and the beach attendants are amazing and hard working. Not sure I will stay here again.

I booked an all inclusive vacation through Expedia at the Divi Golf & Beach Resort. Wow, was this resort beautiful. The room actually looked better in person! We stayed in room 2128 and the only negative was the room was riddled with black mold. I used to work for a mold remediation company so I’m very familiar with It. Right when you walked into the room you could smell a very musty smell. Both my father and I had reactions to the mold all week- sore throat, coughing, congestion etc. however, we were only in the room to sleep so It wasn’t a huge issue but I did let the front desk know upon checking out. The resort is right across from the beach so It was easy to get to and from. We didn’t explore the resort much and stuck to the beach, the gym, the pool/bar, and the seabreeze marketplace for breakfast/lunch/dinner. I did a ton of research on this resort and the food prior to coming and the food was great for an all inclusive. The staff was very friendly and kind. The only negative for me and this is probably 1st world problems lol was that they are def on island time. No sense of urgency when eating or getting drinks. That was frustrating when I just wanted a quick drink to take out to the beach and I would end up waiting for 25 minutes when there was no one at the bar but myself and the bartender 😂 but hey I was on vacation so It wasn’t a huge deal. We booked two excursions through the concierge and they were both great! We did a half day bus tour that took us around the island and we got to see the main attractions. We also booked a sunset cruise our last night that was wonderful. This was my first time in Aruba and will not be my last. I would highly recommend this resort (even with the mold issue in the room). My time spent at this resort was awesome!
