I stayed at Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu from 17-23 May 2026 while attending the CTI MPA Meeting and Workshop. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is well maintained, the rooms are comfortable, and the location is excellent, making it a convenient choice for both business and leisure travelers. The staff were professional and welcoming throughout my stay. The breakfast and lunch were good, with a nice variety of options. However, I think there is still room for improvement. Having stayed at Le Méridien Jakarta, I felt that the dining experience there was a bit stronger in terms of variety and overall quality. Overall, I had a positive experience and would gladly stay at Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu again when visiting the city.

You can feel the hotel's hospitality the moment you step through the doors. Every staff member, from the doorman to the reception team, was friendly, welcoming and attentive. They helped with our luggage and delivered it directly to our room, making the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. The facilities and amenities were excellent, including the toiletries, swimming pool and gym. The room was well-maintained and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the experience. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

I had a wonderful stay at Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu. The location is fantastic, right opposite the fish market and within easy walking distance of many attractions. Check-in was quick and efficient, the room was superb, and the luxury toiletries were a lovely touch. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. I honestly couldn’t find anything that needed improvement. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The service was excellent, and all the staff were kind, friendly, and welcoming. I would especially like to thank **Marry**, who was incredibly kind, polite, and attentive. She provided outstanding service and made my dinner even more enjoyable. I would also recommend that the hotel consider adding a service charge or an option for guests to leave tips, as the staff truly deserve recognition for their hard work and excellent service. The rooms were clean, the hospitality was exceptional, and the kindness of the staff made my stay in Malaysia truly memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Malaysia.

Highly recommended hotel in Kota Kinabalu. Great service yet not too intrusive. Super comfortable n clean bedding. Awesome seaview especially at the club lounge. Prompt service requested through their apps. The gym has quite a goid range of equipment just that hand towel were not replenish. The only area to improve is the food served. It will be great if they can served different food everyday instead of just replace fried kueh teow with fried noodle or a replace beef soup to fish soup but the ingredient still exactly the same. Having almost the same food for 5 days can get turned off. Other than food, all are great.
