​We recently stayed at Hotel Katamare and it was the highlight of our trip. After a busy few days, this was exactly what we needed. As someone who is hard to please, I was genuinely impressed by how the team operates. ​A few highlights: ​Exceptional Service: The staff are incredibly professional and were happy to accommodate our specific requests without any hesitation. It’s rare to find a team that is this proactive and genuinely focused on guest comfort. ​Atmosphere & Quality: The hotel itself is stunning, with a very peaceful energy. The spa facilities were superb, perfect for unwinding and feeling completely looked after. The seafront view is unparalleled and to have access to this from the room balcony is amazing! ​Kindness: I was traveling with my mother, and the level of care and respect shown to her by the staff was something I really appreciated. They made us both feel very welcome. If you’re looking for somewhere in Montenegro that actually listens to guests and feel taken care of, this is it. We left feeling rested and respected. Huge thanks to the team for looking after us so well, we’ll definitely remember the kindness shown, highly recommend!

We had a brilliant stay at Hotel Katamare in June. The room was terrific with a balcony looking out over the bay of Bicici. Room service and breakfast were first class. Special thanks to the receptionists who helped us reschedule our airport transfer, and Kovačević Petar who keeps the beach area safe, clean and comfortable with a cheerful smile.

As a hotel manager for 22 years, i would love to share my experience, everything was on high level, service, food, reception , staff. I would definitely come back again and stay at this property. Special compliments for 2 employees Elid Catovic and Milica Rajcic who did great job, high level service. We enjoyed every second of our stay. Hotel is staff not things and stones. Design is warm and great types of Marble and Stones. Loved the place and atmosphere. Well done to management team.

The hotel itself is nice, clean, and well located, which makes this review disappointing to write. Late in the evening, I contacted reception with a very normal guest request — asking for an extra blanket. I was first told that housekeeping had already left and that I should call again in the morning. When I insisted that an extra blanket at night is a basic guest need and asked whether reception could assist, the response I received was: “I’m reception, not housekeeping.” Eventually she brought a blanket that night, but it was baby blanket in double bed cover. What disappointed me was not the blanket itself, but the complete lack of ownership, willingness to help, and service-oriented communication. The following morning, housekeeping also disturbed the room very early due to a room mix-up. The staff member later apologized, which I appreciated. However, after these incidents, I specifically asked reception if the manager could speak with me before my departure. Nobody followed up, nobody contacted me, and nobody even asked what had happened. Mistakes happen in every hotel. But professionalism is reflected in how staff communicate with guests and handle simple problems. Unfortunately, that part of the experience was very disappointing.

Pretty amazing , the view it’s breathtaking of the sea , they also upgraded us to a suit for free and the staff was amazing friendly. The location its top , 10 min drive you are in Old Town Budva also nearby you have a lot of great attractions and also the beach its clean and pretty good. The room is super clean, quiet nice bathrooms and the cleanliness is great. I told them in advance that its my wife’s birthday during our stay and they suprised us with a cake and a welcome note. Definitely recommend
