Christina and the team, thank you so much for actually giving us a holiday and knowing our children were having the best possible care similar to their nurseries at home including nap times in the creche and snacks, walks in the stroller & visits to the splash park. From the quality of the dishes to the attention to detail in presentation and service, it’s clear that a great deal of passion, skill, and teamwork goes into everything you do. The flavors were exceptional, and the overall atmosphere made the experience truly memorable. Please share our appreciation with the entire kitchen and front-of-house staff.     We've just returned from a lovely relaxing week at Dassia, and wanted to add our thoughts to the mix. We've previously stayed at Olivia so we had that as a benchmark to compare to. Dassia feels like Olivia's older sister - it's bigger, felt more formal and definitely had fewer children staying (we visited both sites mid June time). Dassia has more restaurants than Olivia, more swimming pools, and a few more experiences on offer (e.g. sunset cruise, shuttle bus). The scenery at Dassia trumps Olivia - I could stare at that view all day long!! As vegetarians we were always able to find something delicious to eat, but the options aren't extensive and were rarely protein-rich. Meat eaters were definitely getting better value here. Allergies are taken into account, but expect to have to remind the staff with every food, drink, and snack order. I'm unsure why this information isn't linked to your room number and would really like to see this system improved in future. Drink selection is extensive, but we had at least one mistake in delivering what we ordered every day (in a different way!) I was also disappointed not to be offered barista made coffee at any of the breakfast restaurants. The restaurants were a bit inconsistent in terms of food quality and service. We loved Enoteca and the Grill House, but were underwhelmed by Kerkyra and Ouzo (which was previously our favourite at Olivia!) The free shuttle bus to the old town is a brilliant addition and well worth a visit. We took advantage of the culture pass (ask at reception) and visited the old fortress for free! You can also walk along the beach to visit Ikos Odisia if you fancy a change of scenery. The whole team here work so hard and are always polite and helpful. Shout out to Christopher at grill house, Philip at the beach, Morgane and Stelios at Enoteca and Aggelos at Anaya who all made our trip extra memorable. It's also worth pointing out that housekeeping and groundskeepers do an exceptional job keeping everything immaculate. Overall we had an excellent stay. Yet given the price of the holiday and luxury branding, there's definitely room for improvement here to make it feel like the seamless experience it could be. It's a 4.5 stars from us.

    Had a great stay here apart from a couple of negatives, which may sound like i’m being overly fussy but…. On check in we were offered a seat in the lobby and a glass of fizz, one of the staff did our check in on an ipad so all very relaxed, he went to get our room key and was gone about 20 minutes, we were tired after the flight so after a while my wife went to find him. He came back apologised and said he was helping other guests ! Surely you should deal with the ones you are with first? The restaurant had closed so we ordered room service, the kitchen said they were busy so it would be a while but when it did turn up the fries were stone cold. We were told to book any à la carte restaurants first thing in the morning, when we went to do this we were told there was no availability. As first timers we were not aware that it is ESSENTIAL to bookcthes via the Ikos app in advance. We ordered lunch at the pool bar , again the food was served cold ( this became the norm). Following day we had lunch in one of the restaurants we ordered dessert ( fruit salad and chocolate cake ) after 20 minutes we asked the waitress were it was , she went to check then 5 minutes later the restaurant manager came over , apologised and said the kitchen was very busy . I asked how it could take so long to serve 2 cold desserts? At theis point he became quite dismissive so we left ( without any) My wife went to the ladies so i complained at reception and also about the evening reservations. At this point she said ‘we have a table booked for you this evening at 8pm . I asked when was someone going to advise me? We eventually had 2 a la carte evening bookings but it took a lot of asking ! Not something that adds to the experience in my eyes. We had the same issue booking the sunset cruise ( we didn’t get to go! ) Generally the staff were very polite but I did feel at times we were treated as something of an inconvenience. IMPORTANT Please do ensure you make your bookings on the app well in advance.

    The most incredible stay at Ikos Dassia! I cannot say enough good words about the hotel! I am gluten and dairy free and cannot recommend the hotel enough. Salomi who is head of food and beverages is an absolute asset to the company. She went above and beyond making sure that every restaurant was able to accommodate my dietary needs, liaising with them before our reservations and even speaking to the pastry chef who was able to organise specific deserts that I could eat each evening. Salomi is such a kind and caring lady who is brilliant at her job and we cannot thank her enough for making every meal of the holiday so incredible. Thank you again :)
