Hotel was conveniently located and lots of places accessible via the MRT. Cleanliness though of the room, especially the bathroom was not so great. I’m blonde, my daughter has very long hair and my partner very short hair.. the hairs in the bathroom are not ours and were there for the duration of our 3 night stay.

We first emailed before our stay on 31st of July 2026, asking about baby cott, were ignored no answer. We checked in on 31st and were told no cott tonight for our baby but then its 45$ a night, half the cost of the room booking. Then we had been informed about construction works, which said they would end on 31st. To later not be told, that they continue to august now. From 9:45am the workers are drilling holes and feels like the whole room is shaking. We left, we came back around 12:00 when our baby has his nap. The drilling was so unbearable. I asked if they could stop for an hour so he can sleep, they said to room switch which at this point is too late, our son will wake up and wont sleep then. Basically we suffer, we pay for room and we get inadequete stay. Selfish behaviour from an establishment for paying customers... 3.8* already and I see why. I wish checked before booking. Dont make the same mistake.

A nice welcome with sweet smiles by Ms. Jane in the reception. Very polite and courteous with her is Ms. April. She is very accommodating and pleasant. She is knowledgable with the hotel, the rooms, facilities and recommended places surrounding the area. With the rooms, bed and pillows are very comfortable. Room and bathrooms are nice smelling and clean. I love particularly the water dispenser and the coffee bullet machine😊👌 Breakfast also provides variety of choices and systematically arranged that's not too crowded. The hotel location is accessible for transportation, leisure and shopping. There are also a lot of places to eat and coffee shops around. Overall, it was a wonderful stay for rest and relaxation after a tiring and stressful week. A great short weekend staycation😊

Excellent in so many ways. Our experience over 12 nights was a huge surprise as we had low expectations. Service ~ special mention to Jane (front desk) & Yi Wei (housekeeping) for their thoughtfulness and kindness. Service was very friendly and personable not usually found in hotels of this category. Rooms ~ toilet was a little small but if you choose a standing shower, there is really no issues. Room size was adequate and beddings were clean & comfortable. We also especially liked the water dispenser in the room & room was quiet. Location ~ can't be beat. Easy access to bus stops, mrt, food etc. Highly recommended !

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Grand Central for 14 days (2 weeks). The staff were friendly, attentive and most helpful. I wish to commend April who was at Reception on the night we checked in. There was a large group of people, with an extremely rude tour guide, who cut queue and barking orders at the staff at Reception. Despite this April was cool, calm and professional. She was all smiles. We presented at Reception to check in first, before the others (notably the rude tour guide and the group of people). Of course, April attended to us first. Eventually I had to call out the rude behaviour of the tour guide, reminding him the way he communicated with the staff (barking orders), and cutting queue was unacceptable. To his credit he backed down. Another staff member who later came to Reception, (probably after her break) attended to him. Every time she saw us at the lobby - on our way out for the day - April waved and greeted us. Please pass her our compliments. Every staff from Reception, the concierge and restaurant were helpful and friendly. The room was clean, there's a daily supply of coffee pods (Nespresso style) and tea bags of various flavours. There is what looks like a Nespresso machine for making a hot cup of coffee. But it seemed "real" coffee pods must be in great demand, as we were given heaps of decaf coffee. Haha. But that was not a big deal. There is also a hot and cold water dispenser. It's great not having to boil water in a kettle. We only use the roof top pool once during our 2week stay. The pool water is clean, with no strong smell of chlorine. In fact we did not detect any whiff of chlorine smell, which is great. We did not opt for breakfast buffet as we wanted to eat all local Singapore food, which is assessible at any food courts or eateries. If we visit Singapore again, we will certainly stay at Grand Central.
