Bed was broken and unfortunately they were out of rooms. They sent maintenance up to drill the frame back together(Thank you Nick!!), and offered to comp breakfast AND gave us priority on a new room in the morning!(Thank you again Nick!) Prices were pretty good for the location, and there was tons of shopping and many restaurants in the area. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. Rooms were surprisingly quiet. Could hardly hear the traffic! Would definitely stay here again!

Extremely disappointing experience. We booked this hotel under terms stating that payment would be made at the property and informed the hotel in advance that we would be arriving around 11:00 PM due to our flight schedule. The hotel acknowledged and approved our late check-in request. While we were travelling, the hotel attempted to charge the full amount of our stay. As soon as we became aware of the issue, we transferred the necessary funds and immediately notified the hotel. Despite this, when we arrived before our approved check-in time, after a 10-hour international flight, we were informed that our reservation had already been cancelled and our room had been reallocated. What made the situation even more frustrating was the contradictory explanations provided by staff. We were told that there was uncertainty about whether we would arrive, despite our prior communication and approved late arrival. We were also given explanations regarding payment attempts that did not match our records. Throughout the interaction, several members of staff were dismissive, unhelpful, and unnecessarily rude at a time when we were simply trying to understand what had happened and find a solution. Being left without accommodation late at night in New York after a long flight was incredibly stressful and completely avoidable. The combination of poor reservation management, lack of communication, and rude treatment by staff made this one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel and booking elsewhere.

Very happy with our 1 night stay in Manhattan. It's a great location, within easy walking distance to the Amtrak train station - about 1/2 mile. Also, lots of nearby restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was small, clean and had a small coffee maker. We will definitely consider staying here again. We arrived at JFK airport on a Friday afternoon and took a car service to the hotel. It took over an hour to get to the hotel during rush hour.

I have had two excellent stays here for business trips. Staff is very helpful. Joseph director of housekeeping and Jennifer at the front desk helped me in a high stress moment also. I realized at airport important items were still in room safe. They both were instrumental in having these taken care of and in fed ex hands same day within a few hours. That is only one instance of the staff going above and beyond. Every interaction I had was positive, low friction and helpful. Room was exactly what was needed. Clean amenities, on premises dining for breakfast was good. Had eggs Benedict one morning. The location is close to MSG and easy walk to lots of dining in Koreatown. Saw a few broadway shows on stays there and it was a very easy walk to get to those. On the whole this is the most consistently positive hotel experience I have had. I will always stay here when going to NYC if given the option.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Manhattan 6th Ave last fall, and I apologize for taking so long to write this, but I absolutely had to leave a review to praise this property and specifically Rovina at the front desk. I was in New York to propose to my woman and Rovina went completely out of her way to make our trip unforgettable. She ensured we were placed in a very clean room with an absolutely amazing window view of the Empire State Building. To top it off, she made our first night after the engagement extra special by having champagne and flowers sent up to the room, accompanied by a handwritten card. Throughout our entire stay, Rovina was super personable, always happy, and went above and beyond to make sure every aspect of our hotel stay and overall New York experience was perfect. All the other staff members were amazing as well, but Rovina is undoubtedly the best attribute of this hotel. I truly hope Holiday Inn is compensating her well for the incredible value she brings to the guest experience! Overall, it was an amazing trip, and we will definitely be booking here again whenever we come back to New York.
