I Stayed 4 days during a business trip. Pros: Beautiful sea views from my room on the 4th floor. Modern interior and well equipped room with body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Access to gym and tennis courts. Service was friendly and professional.and the desserts was the highlight amazing. Breakfast and lunch were ok in quality and variety. The bathtub is placed in the room directly in front of the bed next to the balcony, which feels a bit unusual. I did not try dinner, so I cannot comment on that. Overall: Beautiful views, good facilities and good service, good hotel for business events.

Malaga is a beautiful location and a wonderful city to visit. Higuerón sits outside Malaga near smaller areas with a great beach. The male front desk staff are not helpful and have elitist attitudes. They tried to up charge us constantly and were just not kind. The female staff were great and very helpful. The rooms are oddly set up and don’t have the finishing touches that other hotels have at this price point. The beach club was fantastic and the staff was great. I have a high status with Hilton but was looked down upon for using points at this hotel. I will not be using this hotel in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Higuerón Hotel, located in Fuengirola between Málaga and Benalmádena, closer to Benalmádena. We would definitely love to come back❤️ The two-level Suite was absolutely beautiful-spacious, elegant, very comfortable and perfect for a relaxing holiday. The bed was very comfortable, and the room felt both luxurious and private. We especially loved the bathtub in the bedroom- it made the stay feel even more special and romantic. The suite also had two bathrooms, which was very convenient. The breakfast was excellent: delicious, fresh and very varied, with plenty of options to choose from every morning. The pool area was also fantastic. There was a lot of space, the double sunbeds by the pool were extremely comfortable, and the club-style music created a great holiday atmosphere. The gym is very well equipped and definitely one of the best hotel gyms we have seen. The staff were also extremely kind, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. The only thing we would have loved even more is if the half-board dinners had more buffet-style options, as the dinners were à la carte only. The food was very good, but a bit more variety in the evening would make the experience even better. Overall, a beautiful hotel with amazing two-level rooms, great facilities, delicious breakfast, lovely staff and a very relaxing atmosphere. It is ideal for a romantic getaway for couples. We will definitely return❤️❤️❤️

Your money is better spent elsewhere. A 5 star hotel that might have the facilities but deeply lacks in care for the guests. Honest recommendation, given the price per night, choose another resort where the attention is to the experience as well, not just to the “looks”. We spent here some days for a business conference, and then decided to extend the stay over the weekend. Both during the professional days, and leisure ones, the staff of the hotel has continued to disappoint with low attention to needs, and an overall over complication of basic service principles. There are some positive points though: the Med staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are cleaned well. But as a hotel guest, your access to facilities is very limited, the reception team is unresponsive and mostly “operational” rather than helpful. Hence, I’d rather go to a hotel that looks less “impressive” from the outside, but provides an actually enjoyable stay, and puts the guests in the centre, with care and attention. P.S. Cherry on the cake, the WiFi is absolutely unreliable and super low on connection across the whole resort. Not a major issue, but also here, a clear example of how they miss on all the meaningful little things that make a stay “worth it”

This isn't my first time staying at this hotel, It's absolutely wonderful. The accommodation is comfortable, and the location on the beachfront is fantastic. The breakfast food is excellent, the room is wide and clean shower room perfect, and the hospitality staff is outstanding, especially employees like Paula, She was very helpful in all aspect in hotel requests and assistance and also in arranging car rentals as well , as the location requires driving to get around. I rate this hotel at the highest stars. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay. I will definitely return to this hotel again.
