If you choose to go all inclusive, the programme generally consists of breakfast (8am to 10.30am), lunch (1pm to 3pm) and dinner (7pm to 9.30pm), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. During meals soft drinks, beer, water and wine are usually offered. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like water, wine, soft drinks, beer and spirits are usually served from 11am to 10pm (except during meal times).

We came for a quiet break on my birthday week. The hotel were smashing and I got a great welcome from Hassan and Noel even though we arrived after midnight. The rest of the staff particularly Victoria in housekeeping were very helpful indeed when my wife was ill (nothing to do with the hotel). The bar staff were a bit slow at times but maybe that was due to high demand and careful preparation of very nice cocktails. Food was at the high end for a buffet. Rooms and beds were great with the spacious bathroom facilities one of our favourite things. We'll deffo return. Just remember you have to travel by car, bus or taxi to Estepona. I'd recommend one of the later two, cos town centre parking is a bit of a problem during current construction works.

★★★☆☆ Overall, we had a decent stay at Elba Estepona Gran Hotel & Thalasso Spa. However, in my opinion, it does not really meet the standards of a true 5-star hotel, so it’s better to keep expectations moderate as the service standards may be different here. The best part of the experience was definitely the staff and service team — everyone was very kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The sea view is beautiful, and the breakfast was good, although the variety was quite limited. Many of the facilities feel outdated, even though the hotel still has a unique charm and character. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I expected more from a hotel with a 5-star rating.

Only been to the SPA,restaurant and spent the day by the pool really. Liked the location though, SPA facilities were nice, multiple jacuzzies and sauna rooms dry/wet hamam, esential oils. The restaurant had a wide range of options - buffe style. Pool was large enaugh and quite enjoyable.

We had a wonderful stay at elba Estepona. I cannot think of anything negative about our stay. Staff were so pleasant, room was so comfortable and clean. Food was fantastic. A friendly and relaxed ambience all around. Can't wait to go back. A really lovely experience. Dave

Good hotel if you like old furniture and settings. Even better if you like to sleep with the balcony door open as they switched off the air conditioner in the night. If you like pebble beach instead of sand, this is the place for you. Great spa if you like piano massage by untrained massage therapist. Sadly for me, I don't like any of above
