I booked a stay here on a whim for myself and two children, and wow!!! It totally surpassed my expectations in every way. It’s even lovelier than it appears on the website, the food is great quality and value for a hotel, especially the breakfast. The staff throughout is friendly and helpful. Everything is super clean. I had two very minor issues and they were quickly resolved with a smile, to my total satisfaction. I can’t stop raving about this place and hope to return later this summer. Thanks for the fun memories!

Loved this resort. Right on the beach and next to the fun town of Albufeira. Diogo checked us in and gave us an upgrade and the rest of the staff was equally welcoming. The villas were spacious, comfortable and clean and provided free access to the wonderful spa. The beach below was beautiful. Everything about our stay was perfect.

Plain and simple this is not a 5-star luxury hotel as advertised. The concierge upon check in was pleasant and accommodating but further interaction with hotel staff was cold and dismissive when issues with our room were presented. The air conditioning was not working in our room when we arrived and the hotel common areas are humid and unpleasant. The TV in our room was setup to purposely not connect to the internet to use streaming services while an Airbnb we stayed at a fraction of the cost did so just fine. The room comes with a smart tablet device that does absolutely nothing (remove them from the room if they’re broken?). The “king” sized bed was two twins put together and was incredibly uncomfortable. The table on the balcony was falling apart and the bathroom in the room was outdated. Finally, this hotel will try to make money at every turn. For a 5-star hotel and the amount you pay, everything should be included in the price, including the spa pools. In the grand scheme of things, all of these issues are small but for the price you pay to stay here and the “5-star experience”- none of these issues should exist. Better to find somewhere else to stay.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here however I wouldn’t return or recommend this hotel for couples or families due to a few reasons that impacted the overall feel of the stay - A lot of maintenance going on while staying at the hotel hallways dirty and dusty - anything we asked for at reception (AC to be fixed and bottled water for room) we were told someone would be sent up only to wait in the room and have to go back down to reception for the same request to repeat (for days) Have to pay for extra facilities that look like they’re included (sun beds at the beach ) access to indoor pool we were told it was €20 per person why would we pay when we are staying at the hotel 😂 Hotel should be providing filtered water for guests there was a sign in the gym saying non gym going residents could not use the water I have never seen something like this in my life, definitely not ideal for families. There is a strange feeling with some of the staff I noticed this at breakfast and at the reception it’s as if they are trying to catch you out on something, and some of them not friendly. Shoutout to bar staff by the main pool who work very hard I must say especially the young man this week he was running around and the man in charge of the towels was also friendly. Overall very small things that could really make this hotel feel like a true 5 star if actioned. Hopefully management will take this feedback on board as the setting of the hotel, layout and rooms we stayed in were fab.

Five-Star Prices, but Not a Five-Star Experience Unfortunately, the experience did not match the standard expected from a five-star hotel charging around €600 per night. Breakfast was particularly disappointing. The dining room felt chaotic, there was very little service, and guests were expected to collect their own cutlery, napkins and glasses. On top of that, we repeatedly had to queue for a self-service coffee machine, and the coffee itself was poor. At this price point, I would expect proper table service, high-quality coffee and a much more relaxed breakfast experience. We were also surprised that nearly every activity in the kids’ club had to be paid for separately. For a family-oriented five-star resort, more of these activities should be included in the already very high room rate. The same applies to the beach facilities. Having to pay extra for sunbeds or beach spots feels unreasonable when paying around €600 per night. Overall, the hotel may have five-star pricing, but the service level and the number of additional charges did not feel like a genuine five-star experience.
