We were genuinely excited for our stay in Goa until we arrived at this so-called four-star hotel. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and did not come close to the standards advertised online. The photos and descriptions provided are misleading and do not reflect the reality of the property. We had booked a double suite, but upon arrival the room had not even been cleaned after the previous guests. The bed sheets were in disarray, visibly dirty, and the room was unhygienic. In a rushed attempt to fix the situation, the cleaning staff did only a superficial clean, during which large amounts of dirt and trash were discovered. The room remained unacceptable, so we requested to be moved. We were then given two separate rooms, which were in equally poor condition. Both rooms were dirty, poorly maintained, and unhygienic. The bathrooms had strange stains, and the beds had clearly used sheets with visible marks and residue, showing they had not been replaced or properly cleaned. The floors were sticky and grimy, and despite multiple requests for cleaning, we observed that the same dirty, blackened mop water was being reused across multiple rooms. Due to the filthy conditions, I could not sleep that night. The bedding had crusty residue and felt extremely unhygienic. The following day, we discovered worms and termites under one of the beds. When we asked to be moved again, we encountered additional problems showers were not working properly and water leaked everywhere. To make matters worse, the breakfast buffet was extremely disappointing, with very limited options and watered-down milk. Overall, this stay was a nightmare. The poor hygiene, lack of maintenance, and misleading advertising ruined what was meant to be a relaxing trip. This hotel does not meet even basic standards of cleanliness, let alone four-star expectations, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

We recently stayed for two nights with our family and were extremely disappointed. The food quality was very poor, the bathroom was not properly maintained, and the washroom doors were not working. This property is definitely not a 4-star hotel as claimed. Breakfast was of low quality and not worth the money at all. The freezer was empty, and basic amenities such as a toothbrush kit, shaving kit, and ironing board were missing. Overall, it was a complete waste of money. The swimming pool was also not clean, and the kitchen staff’s behavior was very rude, making us feel unwelcome. They kept highlighting menu prices for food and water as if it were a 7-star property. I strongly recommend not staying here, as it does not meet even basic hospitality standards.

I stayed at De Alturas Goa for 5 nights, and it was a truly pleasant experience. The staff were incredibly well-mannered and professional, always ready to assist with a smile, which made me feel genuinely welcomed. The food was amazing – it honestly felt like home. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. It quickly became one of the highlights of my stay. Service across the board was excellent – from housekeeping to the front desk, everything was prompt and efficient. The ambiance of the hotel contributed to the overall relaxing vibe, making it the perfect getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable, warm, and memorable stay in Goa!

Absolutely the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Stayed 3 nights for a school trip with 3 of my other friends. The AC was not working, Tv was not even switching on, water supply wasn’t regular and showers were clogged. On top of all that the landline’s wire was not connected so we had no means to contact the reception or room service. We went to the reception desk multiple times but no member of the staff resolved our issues. Food was beyond horrible. Absolutely tasteless and inedible, many of my classmates even fell ill after consuming that food. If this was the situation in July which is not even a month of high footfall for resorts like these, I can only imagine how they would be handling customers in busy months. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.

I recently visited this resort and they have nice rooms but not like 4 star hotel. Hotel menu was very expensive and service was not good at all. Stray dogs made resort dirty and swimming pool was occupied by drunked people so those who don't drink at all will face fear. Doors were not properly working and these was no hanger to hang clothes.
