We booked this hotel after a previous stay 5 years ago and have had another wonderful stay. We couldn’t be happier with the experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location was also ideal, a 10 minute walk from Times Square and subway stations. The staff were all welcoming and helpful. A special mention must go to Marilyn, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay even more brilliant. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. We would absolutely recommend this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

Ive stayed here two separate weekends this month. I think if you keep your expectations realistic, and you just need somewhere to sleep and shower, this place is perfectly fine. I would recommend it for solo or couple travelers who are okay with lower cost for limited space and bare bones amenities. Basically a hostel with private rooms. Pros: Small but clean and comfy rooms, great location. Affordable when booked in advance. You don't have to wait 6 years for an elevator. Cons: Most public amenities are broken. I went to four floors with broken ice machines before giving up and asking the very kind bartender at the restaurant on 4 for ice. Self check-in tablets do not work. The luggage storage bot does not work. The front desk employees are nice but their laptops also do not ever seem to work 😂. I swear half my check in experience was just me and the employee staring at each other while they waited for their laptop to load. Things to note: don't expect any in-room amenities (microwave, fridge, coffee maker, etc). The toilet and shower are separated from the room by a rolling glass door that doesn't even go all the way to the wall because of the baseboards, so expect to hear -everything- if you're traveling with someone else.

Location is great , 10 minute walk from time square and subway stations. Staff were very helpful when needed. Self check in was efficient and the rooms are very modern. Was comforting knowing we had a well kept room with a great view to come back to after a long day of exploring. Only thing wrong was the radiator for drying your towels didn’t work but that was a minor issue as they did give us fresh towels everyday ! House keeping came everyday we went out which was also great. Overall great experience staying here and glad we chose too.

The good: I feel that the lobby staff/restaurant staff/cleaning staff are really trying their best. I felt well taken care of. I feel bad leaving this review because it does not reflect the staff at all. I also felt that the overpriced breakfast buffet was at least convenient. Now the bad: The building is overall quite cramp and very run down compared to similarly priced hotels. Would not recommend unless they go through a major renovation. I wish I could leave 100 more 1 star reviews to dilute the surprisingly high rating. Rooms are small and run down. In true need of a full renovation. Many of the amenities are non functioning. The rooms remind me of a dilapidated hospital room. I heard there was a honeymoon suite. Anyone looking to this place for their honeymoon.. please avoid. Again, kudos to the staff. You are great.

Ruined our holiday. This was not a 4 star hotel. It wasn’t really even a hotel it has hostel vibes. Booked at a cost of almost $2000 for three nights with my kid flying in from Europe to have a “home alone” style holiday only to discover we were in what feels like a prison cell. Nothing like the photos on the booking. You’re sleeping in a shower room there’s no “en suite” your toilet is in your bedroom. It was FILTHY we had to buy slippers because the floor was so bad. The bed was broken and tiny, the toiletries had no smell it was like school bathroom soap. Waited 3 hours for a shower cap. They never answer the phone when you ring down so I had to keep leaving my kid upstairs and running the gauntlet of rickety lifts to get things and then wait around for someone to serve you. On the first night the receptionist was making faces with a lobby guy behind me, about me. The hallways smelt like weed and cigarettes, no kettle - who gave this place four stars? It’s far far from it. Also times square it is not. It was the biggest disappointment totally ruined our holiday. I can see the hotel posting replies saying they are planning a big upgrade - so they are then knowingly selling people crappy rooms at 4 star prices and not compensating for the state of the place. Spent an hour in the lobby waiting for the yobot to be fixed to leave our bags, funnily enough they have guys that get paid $3 a bag to take them so it works out well the machine doesn’t work 90% of the time. Breakfast was so bad we walked in and back out again. I tried to upgrade because our room was that bad but they refused to allow that too.
