I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. I’ve rated the room 4 stars for a couple of reasons. While the room was clean, well-maintained, and offered a comfortable stay, it did feel a bit compact for what’s considered a king room. Additionally, the elevator situation during peak hours was a bit challenging. With only three elevators servicing a 45-story building, wait times can get long—especially in the mornings around 9–10 a.m., when staff are also using the lifts to access guest floors. It would be great if there were a dedicated service elevator to help streamline the experience for hotel guests. The air conditioning was another area that could use improvement. It tends to cool the room quickly and then shuts off, which leads to noticeable fluctuations in temperature. A more centralized or consistently regulated system would really enhance comfort. That said, the staff truly made the stay enjoyable. The reception team was welcoming and helpful throughout, and every staff member I interacted with greeted guests with a smile. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor made a positive impact and helped offset some of the minor inconveniences. All in all, I would recommend this hotel for its service and location, with just a few tweaks that could make the experience even better.

Absolutely the worst hotel I have stayed in. Hilton should be appalled to have their name and reputation associated with this location. I was told when I booked that I could do an early check in all that I needed to do was call the day of. I called the day of and was told this was very doable for a $50 charge. When arriving it was not available! When arriving in our room the floor was sticky. The toilet was not clean and had dead bugs and debris in it. Not to mention our entire stay there were bugs in the bathroom. What an incredible waste of money! Again Hilton should be ashamed totally of this location.

Great location in Dowtown Manhattan, close to Staten Island ferry, 9/11 memorial and the subway. The room was very small with not much room to store luggage or get ready as it was shaped diagonally. We paid extra for a city view but what we got was two big buildings and a bit of the river. We were on the top floor for this underwhelming view which meant that the lift took forever as it was very slow. The reception staff were very friendly but didn't carry out a request for an extra luggage stand that I asked three separate times throughout our four night stay. I asked housekeeping on the day before we left and had one within the hour, although was a bit late by then. The bed wasn't too comfortable as it was quite hard. We stayed here thinking the Doubletree brand would be as good as it is in London but were sadly disappointed by how small and basic it was. The best thing about the room was the Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries. If the room had been bigger I would have been happier. Overall, a really good base for exploring.

I was a little hesitant at first because of some comments I’d read, but this turned out to be a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The hotel is clean, spacious, and modern. I had a King City View room; the view was stunning, and I had no issues with the elevators (there are three). What stood out was the location, it’s perfect! Close to major attractions, restaurants, and public transportation, yet still peaceful and quiet at night. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, especially Jose at the front desk. Shoutout to him for the amazing customer service! I’d honestly go back just for him. Overall, I absolutely loved my time here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Great service and comfortable room. I arrived right before the 4pm check in and my room was ready. The staff is very helpful. My room was clean and well maintained with a great view. This is a great place to stay in the financial district.
