I very much enjoyed my stay at the Colony Hotel. The first and most important thing is the central location directly on the beach. The hotel has no resort fee and there is a convenient parking garage several blocks away where you can park all day for $20 dollars. The rooms are small but still comfortable. There is nothing luxurious about this hotel but given all the factors as well as it Art Deco design it is perfect for the budget traveler. While still expensive compared to other rooms this size it stands above many others. The food in South Beach is double the price anywhere else. While breakfast is not free, a standard meal is provided for $11 coffee included. A 20 % gratuity is added to every meal which is annoying but standard in South Beach. I would gladly return if I returned to South Beach.

This would be for the restaurant area. Cool vibes sitting out side for brunch. With the Famous 64 Caddy next to us from ScareFace. Food prices are expensive...But your on the strip...its expected B U T..... 34.00 for steak and eggs over cooked my med rare steak. Potatoes were ok, no seasoning same with the steak. They do give you a free coffee or mimosa for staying at the hotel. Should've could've Google the reviews for something more flavorful. Ohhh. Party of 4 or more automatic 20% service charge and 3.3% aprox for credit card.(that's a separate charge) *** looks that most or ALL the restaurants on the strip "automatically ADD" the 20%-22% to your bill. Your in a prime location, the food should have FlAvOr! Side of toast is "blan" the jelly packs are from school days at the cafeteria.

I love leaving 5 star reviews. I just can’t even leave 2 stars here. Spend your money elsewhere. The rooms are very small and the hotel lost power for a full day. They never offered to refund anyone or make any kind of adjustment. They charge upfront $80 to park your car with the valet . The room had people hair on the bathroom floor. The shower area looked like mildew in the cracks of the grout. Just overall not even a good experience. Best part about the place is the little restaurant in the basement called Montanas.

The service was great! A man by the name of Chris checked me in and was very friendly. The hotel is right in the heart of South Beach, and the room was nice and clean. Unless you book a room at the front, your only view will be the building next door, but if you don't spend much time in your room that's fine. Since this hotel and the ones near it have been seen in many TV shows and movies, it's fun to be staying at it and seeing it in person. I will definitely stay here again.

A great accomodation! I enjoyed my stay here very much. The restaurant below offers a vast array of nice food and cocktails. The location is superb, easy to navigate and central to the Ocean Drive. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall I’d recommend it here for a true Miami Beach experience.
