Cavalier Hotel South Beach

Our stay at this hotel was amazing. It was so clean. The location was perfect. We didn’t actually eat at the hotel as we did not include this in our booking but i can imagine the food being just as good. All staff were friendly, especially Philip when helping us to check out. The only downside was the water pressure in the shower and the sink. However, overall an amazing stay, would definitely book again.

I stood here for the World Cup game of Scotland vs Brazil. It was absolutely perfect. The location was great, AC was so refreshing, ice cold water in the lobby at all times, and Alejandro was just so welcoming. He greeted me every time he saw me, helpful with anything I needed, and a pleasure to work with. My room was beautiful and comfortable. I loved that it wasn’t a huge hotel, more of a boutique, because I felt closer to the festivities. Overall a great experience. Thank you!

Our first time in Miami Beach, we had a few questions, and William, answered them with knowledge, kindness, and professionalism. From the moment we arrived, we knew this was the perfect place to stay. The location was ideal for our event, and the valet service was impeccable. Alejandro and Philip from the front desk, Everyone we encountered was welcoming and friendly as we stepped into this beautiful, historic renovated hotel. The atmosphere was sophisticated and clean, and the room design was fantastic. We also appreciated the water bottles, beach chairs, towels, and coffee station. It was truly a stress-free vacation. We were grateful to the team for keeping everything spotless and smooth, especially considering it was a busy weekend. We look forward to our next stay. Thank you!

The location is nice, but unfortunately the service was truly disappointing and made our stay a very unpleasant experience. I would like to point out that the front desk staff was very friendly and courteous, and they were the positive exception during our stay. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff was often unfriendly and unhelpful. We also had several unpleasant experiences with the housekeeping staff. They entered our room even though it was clearly obvious that we were inside, with the TV and hairdryer on. When we politely asked for a few minutes, instead of showing any understanding, they reacted with obvious annoyance. Shortly afterwards, we noticed that they were entering all the other rooms along the corridor as well, which made us wonder if we were somehow the problem. The staff at the outdoor bar also seemed more interested in other things than in taking care of their guests. Another major issue was the noise in the morning. From around 7:00 a.m., we were forced to wake up because of the considerable noise made while preparing breakfast. For this reason, we obviously preferred not to have breakfast at the hotel and chose to go somewhere else instead. It’s a shame because the hotel has a nice location and potential, but the poor service and attitude of most of the staff completely ruined our experience. Overall, a very disappointing stay and unfortunately not an experience we would recommend or repeat.

Philip and Alejandro were amazing. I brought my 9 year old here for his birthday and we were pleased with our stay. Rooms are clean and cozy. The hotel is beautiful, the food is great and everyone working there were very friendly and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend and will definitely be returning here on our next trip.
