We are still staying at the hotel and I have to say my expectations were missed by far. I've heard this is the best hotel in Cyprus and was very much disappointed. Although the rooms have decent size and are well equipped, they lack luxury touch that would justify the price. I'd say the room is worth good 300-400 euro a night. Service is so much far away from luxury that I don't know where to start..At check in I asked if there's a possibility for a complimentary upgrade since the hotel is not full, now I would appreciate a fast and clear "we are sorry but we cannot offer it", instead the lady had to "catch" the reservation manager and only one hour later I heard about the amazing offer of 10% discount on the upgrade (14 euro per night discount). This insulted more than just a simple no. At the breakfast I couldn't find butter so I asked the waitress to bring me some. I got back a "you didn't see it there, it's right at the buffet???" and yes I didn't see it because it was out of stock, but being 8 months pregnant I decided to go and have another look.. We called from the room to book a table at the restaurant and were waiting for 1 hr for the team to confirm it, had to call 3 times. Had reservation at the restaurant for 7 30 and came 7 26, the waiter made sure to let us know they open at 7 30 and we are early. We mentioned 5 times my dietary restriction (no raw, no salt) and finally had crab and raw caviar brought to us. Waiter advised "just skip it" Waited for over 1 hr for 4 desserts to arrive to our table at the lobby bar, they added some jam to all the desserts that wasn't mentioned in the menu. The best thing about the place is the location, but that's about it.

We had a fantastic stay at Anassa and would def return. The hotel is incredibly family-friendly, which made travelling with young children so much easier. Every member of staff was genuinely warm, welcoming and always happy to help. The food was outstanding!!!! everything we ate throughout our stay was exceptional. The location is also beautiful, with a gorgeous beach that makes you feel like you’re on an island. We especially loved all the greenery and flowers around the resort and the sound of birds singing throughout the day made it feel so peaceful. There are just a couple of things that could be improved. The lunch restaurant is quite a walk from some of the rooms, which is especially difficult in the midday heat when you’re travelling with toddlers or babies. The hotel’s buggy service (golf cart-style shuttles) also seemed stretched! we had to wait around 10 minutes for a pickup on a few occasions, (even though the hotel was only about 70% full.) Our only other criticism was the lack of blackout curtains in the rooms. The sunlight came in very early so we were awake by 6 am every morning. These are relatively minor points though. Overall, Anassa is a beautiful hotel with exceptional food, amazing staff and a stunning setting. We had a wonderful holiday and would happily recommend it to families looking for a relaxing luxury getaway.

The resort is located right on the beach, offering a spacious and well-maintained environment. It features a beautiful pool overlooking the sea alongside direct beach access. The dining options are excellent, with high-quality, delicious food. We stayed in a studio room that provided stunning sea views, and found it to be exceptionally clean and well-kept. The facilities, including the spa, indoor pool, and gym, are top-notch. Above all, the staff service is outstanding

We had an overall pleasant stay at this resort. The property is huge and spread across a very large area, giving it a spacious and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel has been beautifully renovated, and everything is very clean and exceptionally well maintained. Our room was very large, spotless, and well equipped with everything we needed. Housekeeping was excellent – the room was cleaned twice a day, and the overall maintenance throughout the resort was impressive. On the downside, the pool area could be much cleaner. The pools were not cleaned during the day, which affected the overall experience. There is a dedicated pool for small children, but many parents chose to stay with their children in the adults’ pool, making it noisy and less relaxing. The beach is beautiful, but it is very rocky, so water shoes are highly recommended. The hotel’s restaurants are extremely expensive, with prices that feel unreasonable for what they offer. Even drinks by the pool are overpriced. Another thing to consider is the location. The resort is very isolated, about an hour’s drive from Paphos. The only nearby option is a small village about 10 minutes away with a few tavernas. Overall, this resort is best suited for retirees or families with young children. If you’re looking for nightlife, nearby attractions, or a more lively atmosphere, this may not be the best choice. However, if you value a large, clean, and well-maintained resort in a peaceful setting, it could be a good optio

5 stars hotel for someone who hasn’t been to a real 5 stars hotel At nearly €1,300 per night, you expect a flawless, high-end luxury experience. Instead, this property delivers a €300–€400 experience at best, just disguised in a five-star outfit. Let me be perfectly clear: the absolute maximum worth of this stay is €300 to €400 a night. Anything beyond that is a complete financial illusion. If you’ve ever stayed at a true luxury property, you will see through the cracks here almost instantly. We stayed in a suite with a private pool, which turned out to be a complete fishbowl. The photos advertised exclusive privacy, but in reality, neighbors were constantly peeking directly into our pool area. There is absolutely no privacy here. The room acoustics are shockingly bad because there are connecting doors between all the rooms. We were completely sandwiched: we could hear a neighboring couple fighting at night on one side, and another couple's toddler woke up before 7:00 AM on the other side. Everything carries right through those awful doors. To top off the structural room defects, our shower floor was leaking. The service and infrastructure simply cannot handle the volume of guests, further proving this is nowhere near a four-figure-a-night establishment. First, the restaurants: The earliest available dinner reservation at either restaurant was 9:30 PM. My wife is pregnant—forcing a pregnant woman to wait until midnight to finish dinner is completely unacceptable for a resort of this caliber. When we did show up, we stood at the restaurant entrance for 10 minutes just waiting to be seated. Second, the pool service: We waited over half an hour just to be noticed and served by the pool staff. Third, the logistics: When leaving, a massive traffic jam caused by buses trapped us for half an hour just trying to exit the property. To make matters worse, upon our return, we were stuck in yet another traffic jam in the hotel lot for about 10 minutes. The only saving grace was a staff member named Mike—he was an absolute legend, saw that we were stuck, and stepped in to help us park. Which brings me to the leadership. The general manager might carry a solid, efficient-sounding German surname, but don't let it fool you—any trace of actual leadership or operational competence stops right there. Under his watch, the property feels less like a finely tuned luxury resort and more like a chaotic circus managed by a committee of easily overwhelmed interns. The complete lack of oversight, lack of training, and structural neglect come straight from the top. We left all of this feedback upon checkout. I sincerely hope the GM wakes or gets replaced and things get fixed for the sake of the new guests coming through their doors—because we certainly won't be back. Save your money. This is a premium price tag for a distinctly mediocre, €300-value experience.
