If you are over 18 without kids do NOT book this hotel. The hotel itself with it's 3 storey buildings resembles very much a Butlins/pontins holiday camp in a previous era. The hotel lobby serves as the main bar area at night and is like having a social drink in a busy airport - the only other area to get a drink is the outside 'cafe' which has all the quality of a sad 60s diner. The location is pretty awful. We were able bodied and the only way to get anywhere is either a steep downward extended yomp to the beach or you can take the short cut of 150+ steps! There is a courtesy bus to the dunes at Maspolomas but it is very limited. Plus side - food was pretty good, there is a decent enough space to sunbathe and although many of the sunbeds are broken we found a couple to lounge on. Roberto on the front desk was very helpful. Unfortunately the soundproofing between rooms was obviously not a priority as every morning from 6am we were entertained with the sound of little feet trying to emulate Saturday night disco fever. Lovely. When we asked to move the only room offered was a room on the same corridor, with zero view or sunlight. At least we have TV. Forget it - not 1 English Chanel. If you have small kids this hotel might hit your idea of a 4* holiday but without them it was pretty mediocre.

Nice hotel, not great where its located as it's on a mountin that's quite far from shops or any attractions. Very windy in january, it was like there was a cloud over us all the time and very cold on the night. The food was nice but can be repetitive and staff were very friendly. There was 2 shops that wasn't open very long at all. The pool with the slide is not heated and its absolutely freezing and the other pools aren't much warmer either. You aren't allowed any lilos or balls anywhere near the pools which can make it quite boring for kids. Hardly any music on during the day or any entertainment. Entertainment is outside on the evening and there's not much to look forward to. Buses are located at the bottom of the mountain so you can get to Puerto rico etc. Can be a boring hotel as there's not much around at all. Very limited decent views from the rooms also, there are a lot of buildings so nice scenery is very limited. The skirting in my room looked like a dog had chewed it, but there is a kettle, hair dryer, mini fridge and safe in the room. Also cleaned well. You can only use the adults only pool if you book all inclusive plus. Inclusive for people with disabilities, they keep a table for you in the food area, seats to help you in and out of the pool and there are ramps. Some places in the hotel don't have a lift though. Don't think it should be a 4 star hotel, high 2 low 3 maximum.

What a great hotel, very clean rooms and everywhere spotless. Staff are very pleasant and attentive. Entertainment staff are brilliant for children as well as the adults, great shows on nightly, mini disco and much more. Food was excellent quality and well maintained with something for everyone. Weather for the time of year was mid 60s with a cool breeze. Definitely be coming back.

The hotel is not bad, but it feels more like a 3-star than a 4-star. On the positive side, the entire staff and hotel service were great – very friendly and helpful people. The food was good and, most importantly, fresh. On the downside, there’s only one main bar for the whole hotel, which can lead to queues, even in December. A second bar near the reception opens only after 6 PM. There’s no typical restaurant bar area where you can comfortably sit in the cooler evenings. The hotel advertises heated pools, but honestly, it didn’t feel like the water was heated. The beach is quite close, although you have to go down some steep stairs to get there. Right next to the hotel there’s also a car rental, which is convenient. Overall, not a bad experience, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

The rooms are to a great standard. We had a family room and both bedrooms had T.Vs and comfortable beds for all 4 of us. The dining room is comfortable and you are not sat too close to other diners. The food is fantastic in both quality and range, with multiple fish and meat options aswell as vegetarian dishes. The staff are all amazing, friendly and happy to help. New Years Eve was incredible with a beautiful meal and then a great show. Well done
