Having spent three nights at the W Muscat, I would rate my overall experience an 8 out of 10. While the hotel certainly boasts a fancy and modern design, there were a few elements that kept the score from being higher. 👍 The High Points Exceptional Housekeeping: A major positive was the room service, which was very well executed, with service provided twice a day. Everything in the hotel, in general, was very clean. Wonderful Breakfast: The morning meal was a definite highlight, offering a wonderful selection and quality. Nice Rooms: The rooms themselves were nice, although on the smaller side. 😐 Areas for Improvement Atmosphere: Despite the high-end appearance, the overall atmosphere wasn't as expected, feeling not so young or immediately welcoming. Views: Guests should be aware that requesting a sea view might only result in a minor partial view of the sea. Dining Options: The hotel felt lacking in variety with not so many options for restaurants. The famous Buddha-Bar was enjoyable and visually great but felt a little boring in terms of atmosphere. Drink Prices: Be cautious with your bar bill, as the prices for drinks are extremely overpriced. 👎 Significant Concerns Security Staff: The experience with the security at the entrance was disappointing, as they were perceived as unprofessional and even rude at times, which is a significant area for the hotel to address. In summary: The W Muscat is a beautiful, clean hotel with great service elements, particularly housekeeping and breakfast. However, the slightly stiff atmosphere, limited views, high drink costs, and issues with entrance security prevent it from achieving a top-tier score.

Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The kindness and constant smiles of the staff made us feel truly welcome. We loved the delicious breakfasts and dinners at Harvest, as well as the relaxing moments by the beautiful pool. The hotel location near the beach and across the opera was perfect. The suite offered every comfort we could wish for and more. Thank you for an unforgettable stay — we can’t wait to come back.

Our one-week stay was absolutely amazing — the hospitality and service were beyond exceptional. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the amenities are wonderful. We were even upgraded to a fantastic suite! It’s a truly family-friendly hotel with incredibly friendly staff who are always ready to help. Special thanks to Daniela, Varun, Alhattab, Romeo, and the housekeeping team — you all made our stay exceptional! The food portions at the restaurants are fantastic. We ordered several times from WET Deck, tried the room service, and the portions were unbelievable — great value and taste. Good ice cream, chicken wings, nachos and calamari. They also have infinity pool with specific opening hours. If there’s one small area for improvement, it would be the breakfast options, especially for families staying for a longer period. The hotel is also conveniently located near the beach and other great restaurants. Overall, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Amazing team and an unforgettable experience! ❤️

The W Hotel Muscat is truly one of a kind. I’ve stayed in hotels all around the world, and this is by far one of the few that really understands what a guest wants. Compared to other hotels in Oman, yes, it is on the pricey side—but in my opinion, it’s absolutely worth every penny. The facilities, entertainment, and food are excellent, making it a perfect choice whether you’re traveling for work or pleasure. It’s also a fantastic option for families, as you’ll find plenty to keep both adults and kids entertained. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere makes you feel welcomed and relaxed. The food was also a highlight—high quality, varied, and consistently well-prepared. Everything about this hotel feels carefully thought out to create the best possible guest experience. Overall, I would highly recommend W Hotel Muscat. Whether you’re here for two or three days of leisure, or even a work trip, you’ll enjoy every moment of your stay.

We had a fantastic stay at the W Muscat — truly a five-star experience! The hotel is stunning, modern, and impeccably clean. Every staff member we encountered was polite, attentive, and eager to go the extra mile to make us feel valued. Our room was exceptionally spacious, with a breathtaking view of the sea and pool, a very comfortable bed, and countless thoughtful touches that made it feel genuinely world-class. A big shoutout to the team at Harvest — we had breakfast there multiple mornings, and it was consistently exceptional. The spread was a perfect mix of Western favorites and local Omani classics, and the service was impeccable, friendly, and courteous every time. One minor downside was noticing a few rude European tourists treating staff poorly, which was disappointing to see. However, the staff handled these situations with grace and professionalism. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The next time we’re in Muscat, there’s no question we’ll be staying at the W again. Highly recommended!
