What a great experience! We stayed for 3 nights at this quite village of santorini. Everyone was so friendly! Foteini did our check in such a warm and professional way we felt great, she showed us the property and then arranged for us to have immediately ice in the room, as we arrived at noon and was so warm, excellent job! Foteini during our stay she was the person that helped us to arrange the catamaran cruise and the restaurants! The rooms were clean and tidy, very good job! At the check out Aris was really fast and professional and booked for us a last minute departure transfer. Thank you so much for everything. You made our trip to santorini and we will be back soon!!!

5+ stars isn’t enough for our stay at Vedema, A Luxury Collection Resort in Santorini. The resort is absolutely gorgeous — peaceful, luxurious, and every corner feels like a dream. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was warm, friendly, and genuinely committed to providing world-class customer service. The team went above and beyond for us by providing amazing restaurant recommendations, reserving taxis, and even helping me book a haircut appointment during our stay. That level of care and hospitality made us feel completely taken care of from start to finish. And if you stay in or around B4, prepare to meet the sweetest little resort cat, Susie. She completely stole our hearts and honestly almost came home with us. Vedema delivered an incredible experience across the board. We can’t wait to come back.

My wife and I stayed here for the first stop of our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. Beautiful property, excellent service, and great restaurant to name just a few things (definitely book a dinner downstairs at Alati). The location is great with some great restaurants and shops right there in Megalochori. Make sure you take a 15 min walk down to a beautiful look out point over the water (Heart of Santorini). The staff were incredible and were very accommodating. We had Spiros pick us up and drop us off, as well as took us out on a local wine/beer tour. He was very friendly and knowledgable about Santorini as well as greek wine. 10/10 recommend, would definitely love to come back.

Vedema Resort is an exceptional property where guest satisfaction is clearly the top priority. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and valued. The front desk team provided a comprehensive tour of the resort, followed by a detailed walkthrough of our suite, explaining the room’s amenities and any additional services that would incur extra charges. They also provided their WhatsApp contact number, which proved incredibly convenient throughout our stay. Any questions or requests were answered promptly, and what impressed us most was that the staff remembered our names whenever we left or returned to the resort. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality truly set this property apart. One of the highlights of our stay was dining at Aalti, the resort’s flagship restaurant. Aalti, which means “salt,” offers elevated Greek cuisine in a beautiful setting. During our dinner, live music created a magical atmosphere that enhanced the entire experience. The food was outstanding and showcased the quality and creativity of the culinary team. We also participated in a wine tasting held in the resort’s 400-year-old cellar. Our sommelier was exceptionally knowledgeable and provided fascinating insights into each wine we sampled. The experience was both educational and enjoyable, making it one of the memorable moments of our trip. The resort’s amenities are equally impressive. The grounds are beautifully maintained, including two swimming pools and a hot tub. The fitness center offers all the essential equipment needed for a workout and also includes a sauna and steam room for recovery and relaxation. The spa is elegant and welcoming, and the estheticians were both professional and accommodating. Guests also have access to Vedema’s sister property, Istoria, located along Santorini’s famous black sand beach. Transportation is provided to and from the beach, and the €60 package includes beach chairs, towels, bottled water, and a fresh fruit salad, making it a convenient and worthwhile excursion. Each morning, the à la carte breakfast was delicious and featured a variety of high-quality options. Our suite was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the large bathroom featured dual sinks, dual mirrors, a bathtub, and a separate shower. Most importantly, I cannot say enough about the staff. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made our stay truly special. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. Vedema is a resort that delivers luxury, comfort, and genuine hospitality, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santorini.

We arrived at Vedema with very high expectations based on the reputation of the resort and the Marriott Luxury Collection branding. Unfortunately, our experience was a major disappointment. We booked a suite with a sea view, but instead were placed in a unit overlooking what was essentially an alley. To make matters worse, there was a dog barking continuously for hours, making it nearly impossible to sleep or relax. This was not the peaceful luxury experience we expected. To their credit, the concierge did work hard to find another suite for the following night, and we appreciated the effort. However, the replacement suite was a significant downgrade from what we originally booked, leaving us feeling as though we were settling rather than receiving the premium experience we paid for. Luxury properties command luxury prices, and with that comes an expectation that accommodations will match what is advertised. Unfortunately, Vedema fell far short. While the staff tried to help, the overall experience did not live up to the reputation of the resort, and it left us feeling more disappointed than relaxed. Based on our experience, we would not return and would encourage others to carefully manage their expectations when booking.
