This was my first trip to New York, and it was amazing. The hotel’s location is excellent — right in the city center and very close to the main attractions. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, especially the doorman/concierge at the entrance. The room is small but clean and nicely furnished. The view from our window was stunning — a beautiful sunrise and an equally beautiful city at night. If I come here again, I would happily stay at this hotel. Highly recommended.

A Wonderful Stay in the Heart of New York! I've just returned from a fantastic stay in New York, and I couldn't be happier with my choice of hotel. The location is unbeatable, everything you could want to see or do is right nearby. The room was spacious, beautifully clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable What really made my stay special, though was the staff. From check in to checkout everyone was so friendly, funny, and genuinely welcoming. The doormen were always smiling and added such a warm touch to every day. Having visited New York five times, I can honestly say this is the best hotel l've stayed in. Highly recommend and will absolutely return on my next trip!

False advertising and absolutely not a 4 star hotel. The hotel website clearly shows king rooms that have hardwood floors, coffee makers, renovated bathrooms, etc. Upon check in I was surprised to walk into my “Luxe King” room that had dirty carpets, was completely dark and had an old dirty bathroom and no coffee maker. I requested to change rooms and receive the updated room that is on the website as advertised and as booked. The front desk staff were rude and unhelpful and the manager Santiago was very unprofessional. He said they overbooked so the only other room they could offer was a Murphy bed (even motel 6’s have normal beds and this also is not advertised on their website). I stated I did not want a Murphy bed and that the room I received was not the room I booked and I wanted a refund. The manager refused and said the best he could do was refund the $40 resort fee (which is bs anyway since all it got is two bottles of water). I pointed out it was false advertising as the room I received was not listed anywhere on the website as an option and he just shrugged his shoulders and said he’d give me a $30 breakfast voucher which I declined because why would I eat bad hotel lobby breakfast when I’m in NYC and could eat better anywhere else? I wanted my money back since I was given a fundamentally different room than advertised. Aside from it being false advertising, the room was also gross with dirty carpets and not functional as none of the outlets in the bathroom worked. I later found out through talking with the bellhop staff that it is actually a room for staff to stay in during long shifts and not actually meant for customers but they give it out when they overbook. Santiago admitted that they overbook and it’s just an “issue they’re looking into” so beware that you very well could be scammed into paying $200+ to get the old rooms that literally do not have working outlets. I didn’t take my socks off the whole time because a quick flashlight hit showed how dirty the carpets were. There was also no comforter on the bed, just sheets. Absolutely atrocious business behavior and even worse attitude from the front desk staff. I’ve genuinely never stayed at a worse hotel. Anything else in New York would be worth it.

AMAZING! I loved this location so much. The staff were friendly, personable, and SO accommodating. There were tons of people available during a very busy time and customer service was top tier. The staff were super friendly with my young son, cracking jokes and made the usually stressful process of checking in and getting settled, easy and light hearted. I will recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in NYC.

I want to say thank you to this hotel, as they really helped me on this trip. We booked through Priceline and paid extra for 2 queen beds. Priceline put our room in incorrectly and only booked us a queen bed. We were two bigger guys, so that wouldn’t work. The hotel was completely booked, but they worked some magic and got us into an acceptable room for the night. They then were able to move us the next night to a more accommodating room. Priceline was zero help, and the hotel went above and beyond to help us. The rooms and the location were very nice, and I would definitely recommend staying to anyone looking for a quiet place near grand central station.
