Excellent birthday getaway with superb food! Brought my wife here to celebrate her birthday and we had a wonderful time. The staff throughout the resort were incredibly friendly and welcoming from start to finish. The food was definitely a major highlight for us. The breakfast buffet is superb—we absolutely loved it every morning. We also had a fantastic experience dining right by the beach at Gustoso Italian Restaurant. A special shoutout to Mr. Firdaus for the wonderful arrangements he made for us, and Chef Safar for his creativity and excellent skills in the kitchen. The hotel even surprised us with birthday gifts, which was a really thoughtful touch. The general facilities are good, though the room's sound insulation could be improved as it was a bit noisy. Still, the amazing hospitality, beachside vibes, and top-tier dining made it a very memorable birthday celebration!

We had a very pleasant stay at PARKROYAL Penang Resort. The hospitality and service provided by the staff were excellent. Everyone was friendly, helpful and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was spacious, comfortable and well maintained, and we were very satisfied with the overall experience. One small area for improvement would be the pillows, as there was a slight odour from one of the pillows. Also, the birthday cake and balloons were delivered only in the late afternoon. It would have been even more special if they had been placed in the room before or upon our check-in, so that it could have been a surprise for the birthday celebration. Nevertheless, these are minor points, and overall we were very happy with our stay. The excellent service, warm hospitality and spacious room made our experience memorable. Thank you to the entire PARKROYAL Penang Resort team. We truly appreciate the great service and look forward to staying with you again! ❤️

Exceptional hospitality at Amazonia Kids’ Club & Gustoso – Mariam, Renugaa, Liza & Chef Amer are absolute gems! As loyal returning guests of PARKROYAL Penang Resort, visiting the Amazonia Kids’ Club right after breakfast has always been a special routine for our children. The space is wonderful, but what truly makes it exceptional every single time is the outstanding staff—specifically Mariam, Renugaa, and Liza. They are incredibly warm, friendly, and always go out of their way to prepare lovely little souvenirs for our kids to take home, making them feel so happy and welcomed. During our recent visit, Liza completely blew us away with an incredibly touching gesture. She showed us a photo she had kept from one of our very first stays years ago—when our son was just 7 years old and our daughter was only a few months old! My wife and I were deeply moved and felt so genuinely valued as long-time guests. This level of personalized care and heart-warming dedication is rare. Kudos and congratulations to Mariam, Renugaa, and Liza for making our family feel so loved and at home. To add to our amazing stay, we also had a fantastic dinner at Gustoso restaurant, thanks to Chef Amer. He kindly introduced us to the unfamiliar Italian menu and guided our choices, ensuring we enjoyed our dining experience with absolute satisfaction. The incredible team at PARKROYAL Penang Resort continues to exceed our expectations. We cannot wait to come back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Wonderful Stay We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. The staff were friendly, polite, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the housekeeping team did a great job every day. The hotel itself was very well maintained, and the atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant. The location was also very convenient, especially for us as a family traveling with children. Everything we needed was nearby, which made our stay much easier and more enjoyable. What we appreciated most was the warm and friendly service. The staff made us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. We had a lovely experience and made some great memories here. I would happily recommend this hotel to families and anyone visiting the area, and we would definitely love to stay here again. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so special! ❤️

General: Good for a beachside holiday. There are 2 pools, water slides and a water play area which is sufficient for kids to play, despite them being relatively small. Rooms are spacious. Service is generally pleasant. Pros: We had a not so pleasant experience at the spa initially, but Ms Fletcher managed the situation very professionally and the service recovery was well done. We extend our thanks to her! Cons: The location of the hotel is really far from Georgetown and the roads tend to jam in the evenings. The cleanliness of the hotel rooms can be better, there were stains on the glass windows and hair in the washroom. The lift is also really small. The kids club is very run down. Most importantly, be prepared for loud club music coming from the nearby beach that will only end around 12am. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
