I had a wonderful stay at the Mövenpick Hanoi Centre, spanning two separate nights, and I would definitely recommend it. The standout feature is the staff; they are incredibly helpful and consistently go above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable. I also made use of their laundry service, which was prompt and fantastic. The location is hard to beat, it’s within easy walking distance to everything you would want to explore in the Old Quarter, yet the hotel itself remains quiet enough to ensure a great night’s sleep. A special shout-out to the rooftop bar—it’s a beautiful space with excellent drinks. A huge thank you to Lan, who was working the rooftop during my visit; the service was top-tier. Regarding the rooms: they feature a classic "Old Swiss/French" aesthetic. While everything was well-maintained and clean, the styling wasn't quite to my personal taste. However, if you appreciate that traditional, ornate style, you’ll likely love it. While I didn't get a chance to try the breakfast or the famous "Chocolate Hour," the overall service and location make this a fantastic choice for a stay in Hanoi.

Was directed here by Accor feedback form to leave a Google review: I have stayed in different tiers and brands of Accor group of hotels and this was my first time staying with Movenpick. If you go to the Accor website, Movenpick is on the premium tier - aligned with Pullman, Novotel and Mercure if I have to name the same tier I have stayed in before. I would say Movenpick have been the most docile and less hospitable of the 4. It is still better than say Ibis but this is a budget tier. However if I'm comparing the same tier, Movenpick Hanoi staff have been the most docile and meek in dishing out the higher tier of hospitality except for the structures and rooms. I have also stayed in Sofitel in Hcmc if I'm comparing about country level Accor hotel. They made our stay very comfortable and kept checking up on us and there's the welcome fruit platter with the Accor member letter which made our stay feel that bit more privilege and special. I know all these are just a hospitality facade and they're not expensive but it's all about the feeling and care they're giving to us members instead of a normal guest walking in. If I have to even give an example, I came from Sapa small little boutique Lodge runned by a lady (not a huge corporation MNC like Accor). They made our stay so personal and comfortable. Even when we were waiting for our shuttle to fetch us, the guy at the reception actually prepared our supper for us secretly! He did not made us aware of it and only passed it to us when we were going to the door and quickly handover the handmade sandwiches and drinks to us in a nice paper bag. This is the extra hospitality I'm talking about, not the price nor the value, it can be intangible services but Hanoi Movenpick failed to even give a glimmer of such. Overall, I wouldn't stay in Movenpick Hanoi for the time being and probably head to look for other brands from Accor (eg M Gallery) if I ever visit Hanoi again. I might still want to try Movenpick Bangkok if I ever do visit Bangkok soon to compare whether its a brand level issue or just a particular hotel culture issue. (I need to reiterate that none of the staff were offending nor rude to me, and I'm just giving a feedback to a "premium" hotel. If this was Ibis the service would have been beyond expectation as they're not giving any expectation from the beginning)

The hotel is really nice. Comfortable n spacious bedroom, there is also bathtub in the bathroom. Great job for the front office team who are kind and helpful in assisting our arrival and also when we need to depart really early morning. Takeaway breakfast is really complete with several varieties and so tasty. We also mentioned in the email during reservation that 1 of us will have birthday on the departure date and they manage to help us with the birthday cake to celebrate it early morning. Thanks to Reservation team Ms. Nguyen Trang and Ms. Tam for the detailed assistance prior to our arrival. Also many thanks to Pak Thomas, GM and all of the team who makes our stay become memorable.

Had the loveliest stay here last year in May! Comfy and clean, even the toiletries seemed to be of good quality I appreciated their breakfast buffet a lot because they’ve served great food each day during our stay here for an official business. They served us a course menu during our last stay and the food was exceptional as well. There’s also a chocolate happy hour by the bar ;) Hehe I haven’t tried the amenities but my friends did say the gym is nice. It’s also close to coffee shops and an ATM in front that did not charge me a withdrawal fee (used gotyme)! :)

Hotel de la Coupole – MGallery Sa Pa is an extraordinary hotel that feels like a destination in its own right. Designed by Bill Bensley, it blends French haute couture with the colour and heritage of Sa Pa’s hill tribes in a way that is bold, elegant and unforgettable. The rooms are spacious, warm and beautifully appointed, with excellent soundproofing, luxurious bathrooms and views over misty mountains or the town below. Every space is richly detailed yet inviting, making the hotel feel indulgent without ever being overwhelming. Dining and facilities elevate the experience even further. Breakfast and dining at Chic are refined and high quality, while the Absinthe Bar is one of the most atmospheric cocktail venues in northern Vietnam. The heated indoor pool and spa are perfect in Sa Pa’s cool climate, and the central location makes exploring effortless. Polished, attentive service ties it all together. This is not just one of the best hotels in Sa Pa—it is one of the most memorable luxury stays in Vietnam.
