The hotel itself is really good. The room was small, but let’s be honest — you’re on holiday, so you want to spend your time outside the hotel, not sitting in your room. Everything was clean and pleasant, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The beach is more gravel than sand, but once you get into the sea, there’s plenty of lovely soft sand. The area is generally quiet, unless you get a room facing the road — in that case, motorcycles and scooters might bother you a bit. The young bartender was doing an absolutely amazing job. I’m not an easy customer when it comes to evening drinks, but he always managed to meet my expectations. 😄 The evening entertainment around the pool added a lot to the atmosphere. Every day throughout our stay, there was something different and new, which was a really nice touch. Another big plus was the Wi-Fi — speeds of around 400–500 Mbps are seriously impressive and a great addition, especially on holiday. The hotel is located in a small tourist village. Chania is about a 40-minute drive away. To sum it up: if you’re not a lady of the court, this hotel is great. The whole team is fantastic, the food is really tasty and filling, and if you want a good drink in the evening — strong or weak, whatever you prefer — head to the bar!

We had a really good experience with the Kalyves beach Hotel. A very special thank you goes to Theodoros Stefanidis, the Restaurant Manager. His dedication and professionalism truly stood out. Every morning he was in the hotel lobby supervising and making sure everything started perfectly with a delicious breakfast and every evening he remained until the very end of dinner, ensuring that every guest was happy and that everything ran smoothly. It is rare to meet a manager who is so committed, attentive, and genuinely passionate about providing outstanding service. His attention to detail and constant presence made us feel valued throughout our stay. Congratulations to the entire team for creating such a warm and memorable experience. The reception and staff are extremely helpful and act with kindness all the time. The rooms are good and comfy. The beach is wonderful and relaxing including the pool. The hotel gives you an enjoyable experience each day after dinner such as magicians and singers even dancers! They have ping pong, pool, hockey, and video games, so you can never get bored. It has lovely views such as goose and duck in the outdoors side. It's very natural and beautiful. It's something you can't miss! I had a memorable and magical experience. Many thanks to Mr. Momo he was very kind and extremely helpful.

The friendliest hotel we’ve ever stayed at! We had an amazing stay at this hotel. It was honestly one of the friendliest places we’ve ever stayed, and we had a tonne of fun from start to finish. The food and drinks were great, the views were absolutely amazing, and the staff made the whole holiday feel really special. A special mention to Muhammad, who did a brilliant job organising the trips and entertainment, and to his wife Iva, who kept us fit during the holiday. A fantastic, memorable stay — we would happily recommend it and would love to come back.

We had a fantastic stay at Kalyves Beach Hotel this summer with our two young children. The hotel has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, with good food and a beautiful beach right on the doorstep. We never had any trouble finding loungers, either around the pool or on the beach, which made family days out so much easier. A special mention has to go to the wonderful staff, who work incredibly hard and really help make the holiday enjoyable. Momo was brilliant, helping guests with trips and getting involved with the entertainment. Iva was fantastic with the children’s activities and was always happy to help. Andi worked so hard in the restaurant and always looked after us, while Giorgios on reception was great fun, friendly and incredibly helpful. It’s the people who really make a holiday, and the team at Kalyves Beach Hotel certainly made ours special. We had a wonderful time as a family and will definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
