Excellent Stay — Outstanding Service from Moji! I had a wonderful stay at Hotel EPIK. The highlight was the exceptional service from Moji, the morning front-desk agent. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. His warm attitude truly elevated my experience. The room was beautiful, spotless, and very well designed — a perfect place to relax after exploring the city. The location is also great, with easy access to nearby attractions and transportation. I really appreciated the 24-hour coffee machine, which was a fantastic touch and very convenient. The breakfast is simple, but definitely enough to start the day on a good note. Overall, great service, great rooms, and great value. I would absolutely stay here again!

Only book if you don't have a sense of smell. The lobby has a strong chemical smell and the rooms EVEN MORE SO. It's SO BAD. I figured out on the second day that it might have been the air freshener that was turned up to maximum (so unnecessary in such small rooms). On the first night, I could taste the smell. It was so bad I did my best not to be in the room. It was supposed to be my resting place but it was torture. I booked three nights but only stayed one. I couldn't take it. The desk clerk didn't ask why I was checking out so early--I guess why would they care, right. I didn't report it because even after pulling out the air freshener, the smell lingered so badly, there was no way it was going away and I assume all the rooms were like this because the lobby was as well. The smell lingered on my luggage for a few days after I left. I'm so glad I left because all my clothes would have smelled too. -There was zero water pressure in the sink. -The continental breakfast was simply adequate. -There are no blackout curtains like I'm used to in hotels. -The walls are VERY thin and I could hear everything that the other guests were doing. Lucky I had a sound machine. -GPS signal is not great so if you're walking/relying on buses, at least look like you know where you're going until you get your bearings. -Much of the city's unhoused population is in the civic center area. All the above would have been reasonable for the price, but NOT THE SMELL.

Stayed 12/2025. Excellent location for public transportation. My room was a little small but price compensated. Walls are thin and can hear other room conversations. Staff was very friendly and respectful. Would not stay here with my wife and daughters.

Came with my wife and everything was clean and organized. The rooms are small but everything looks like new . Service excellent and free breakfast. The only bad thing is the location close to tenderloin street ( tons of homeless). I’m not a picky person so this place was good enough for my stay in SF .

My first time coming to San Fransisco, and so when i had originally booked a hotel I was just booking something that looked nice and wasn’t too expensive since i planned on staying for 2+ weeks. Well I wish I had done more research because the original hotel i booked was absolutely horrible in every aspect, so bad that I left there 4 days before my reservation was done. A friend had recommended Hotel EPIK and so thats where I changed my stay to and literally one of the best decisions I have ever made. The neighborhood I can definitely get interested late a night etc. but Hotel EPIK made me feel so safe and so at home. The staff is beyond kind and helpful, the whole building including all the rooms has recently been renovated and the interior design of the place is very impressive. I got my self one of the suites which is so worth it. There’s also a grab and go breakfast included and you can’t beat the price of the rooms. They also dont ( so far from what i have noticed) quadruple the price of the rooms just because it’s Friday or Saturday. When I come back to visit SF i 100% will be staying at Hotel EPIK
