A big thank you to Christopher at the reception! I have stayed at this hotel twice before and always enjoyed it. Unbeatable location and value. Unfortunately I got a bit unlucky this time with a room that was very noisy due to an AC being very close to the window from another building. Christopher immediately stepped in and accommodated. He ensured I was able to switch rooms for the remainder of my stay. The rooms are good size for NY and clean. Have a big TV and plenty of storage space. Will definitely come back again in the future.

Not all that impressed. Stayed for 5 nights over the New Year. Now, I don't mind paying a premium for New Year which is what we did but I do still expect the same service, nothing more. Our room was tiny which is too be expected in New York, but nobody cleaned it for 2 days. I had to ask at reception for it to be done, it was done that day. Same with my parents room but unfortunately theirs wasn't cleaned, very disappointing. One thing that does really annoy me is when you book a room for 2 adults and 2 children and they don't cater for the 4 people. 3 towels, 2 bottles of water. Why? Our room had a massive problem with the pipes vibrating as well, so loud it kept us awake. We were told by reception there's nothing they can do but they sent the mechanical guy up 2 nights to try and stop it anyway. It did stop after a while but very frustrating On a positive note it was nice to go downstairs in the morning and grab a nice coffee to leave with.

We recently visited NYC for a weekend to celebrate our daughter's birthday and tour the Statue of Liberty. We really enjoyed our stay at the Four Points Sheraton SoHo during this trip! The room was larger than expected (for New York), and surprisingly quiet given the notices of nearby construction. (Unfortunately, our room had no view and faced the neighboring building, but this didn't matter for the brief time we were in the room - and may have helped reduce noise.) The front desk staff were also friendly and helpful. This hotel is in a great location — close to the subway and an easy walk to restaurants, Chelsea Market, and more. The only con, as others mentioned, was that housekeeping was not early. (They came to our room around 7pm, so we turned them away, as were getting our daughter ready for bed. They did give us new towels and water, though.) We would definitely stay here again!

I had an overall decent stay, but I expected a bit more since the hotel is part of Sheraton. I faced two main issues during my stay: 1. There was a cold air leak coming from the window, and the weather was very cold. The staff fixed it temporarily by sealing it with strong tape. 2. The windows had no sound insulation at all. I was on the 8th floor but felt like I was on the ground level. I could clearly hear people on the street and the construction noise even at night. The location was great and the room was clean, but these issues affected the comfort of my stay.

The rooms are ok. They are a bit dated as is the hotel in general. The property is proximate to the Village, NYU, NOHO and other attractions. The business forward location has welcomed more residential neighbors and thus the number of eateries has increased to accommodate patrons in the area.
