This is a very good resort Marriott if you want some quality pool and beach time; but want to be in striking distance of Hoi An and Hue for more sightseeing activities. Marble Mountain is also walking distance. The rooms are huge, bathrooms are nice (big tub, walk in shower, 2 sinks, good pressure and hot water), air conditioning works well. It's not the newest Marriott property so there are some signs of age (some mattresses might need replacing) but everything works as expected. The sound proofing is good. I had an Ocean view room which gives a good view of sunrise over the beach. The breakfast is amazing - a huge international buffet with local, western, Korean, Japanese cuisines, also a dedicated dessert station with ice cream bar, a coffee area including local Vietnamese coffee specialties, and a large area with breads and fruits. The hotel was fairly busy when I stayed there but there were always seats and it never felt too crowded, whether I went at 7am or 9.30am. The gym is reasonable - has a bench and free weights (dumbbells) up to 20kg which is better than many hotels. There's a Smith machine, several weight machines, treadmills, cycles, yoga equipment, stretching equipment, and other things I'm sure I'm forgetting. There are enough restaurant and bar options on site so you shouldn't get too bored, though Da Nang has a pretty good food scene worth checking out. Staff were very nice.

Danang Marriott is on the beach. The grounds and pool areas are fabulous! We were lucky to get a room overlooking the Infiniti pool and beach, and sunrise 🌄 views every morning! The gardens are beautifully decorated and maintained… with maintenance starting before sunrise! It’s extra picturesque before the Vietnamese New Year… Tet 🌺💐🌴🌺💐 The buffet breakfast is amazing with a plethora of international items. During the week I sampled Allu Gobi paranthas from India, sushi and miso soup from Japan, sausages from Europe, hummus Turkish style. Waffles and crêpes served with mango and green tea, ice cream! The local fruits and vegetables were fresh and delicious as well! The servers were friendly and tried their best to accommodate our request. Google Translate helped us when in jam. Please come down to breakfast early so as not to be disappointed in seating.
