We had a lovely family holiday (5 adults) at alexander the great. For the price we paid for a fairly cheap all inclusive, it was all as expected and not at all as bad as the negative reviews. We loved how quiet the pool area was, no fight for sun loungers. You often got the pool to yourself as most people chose the hotel beach. Our rooms were clean and fairly modern but traditional with large balconies. When we had any minor issues (fault with shower) the maintenance staff were very quick to fix it and reception staff were very polite and helpful. The buffet restaurant was good for breakfast, lunch and dinner, not a huge selection of choices but enough for the week. With a great view over cliff of the sea. The a la carte restaurant was great too. The location was great as we could walk along the beach easily. We used taxis to Afytos and booked excursions through Jet 2. There's an onsite shop too with essentials Overall we had a great time and would recommend.

Our stay at Canvas by Mitsis – Alexander the Great in Halkidiki was nothing short of spectacular, and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the impeccable service and the stunning surroundings that make this place a true gem. The hotel is set within a beautiful, lush garden that is meticulously maintained, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. The rooms are exceptionally tidy and well-maintained, providing a perfect sanctuary after a day in the sun. We especially appreciated the beds, which were incredibly comfortable and ensured a great night's sleep throughout our stay. The beach is absolutely excellent, featuring crystal-clear water and a smooth entry into the sea with no stones at all. The sunbeds and umbrellas are brand new and very tidy, ensuring a comfortable experience by the water. While the walk down to the beach offers a truly phenomenal view that shouldn't be missed, the hotel also provides a convenient golf cart shuttle service for those who prefer not to walk, which is a fantastic and thoughtful touch. The dining experience was superb, with delicious food and a great variety to choose from. Cleanliness throughout the property is kept at the highest possible level, and the pool is sparkling clean, earning a well-deserved 10 out of 10. We were also impressed by the unlimited availability of coffee, ice cream, and refreshments at all the bars, which added a layer of effortless luxury to our holiday. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the staff. Everyone we encountered was incredibly kind and professional, providing service at the highest level. We would especially like to commend Zouriko and Alvina from the reception for their exceptional hospitality and for making us feel so welcome. Their warmth and dedication truly made our stay unforgettable. We will definitely be returning!

I stayed at Mitsis Hotel in Greece last summer, and I had an amazing experience. Everything about the stay was wonderful from start to finish. The beach was very calm and extremely clean, and the water was crystal clear , you could even see fish swimming around :))) We had an all-inclusive package, and there was a beach bar where you could enjoy cold drinks anytime, which made it even better. The ice cream was super delicious, and the iced coffee was my favorite! The food was absolutely amazing, with a lot of variety and great quality every day. One of my favorite things was the view from the restaurant; while eating, you could see the sea right from the window, which made the experience feel really magical. The room was clean and nicely decorated, very comfortable to stay in. The bathroom was also spotless, which I really appreciated. On top of that, the staff were extremely kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation in Greece. All the pictures are taken at the hotel💛✨

Best beach!!! Very polite personnel, delicious food. Every day we’re fish beef pork chicken, many many vegetables in different variations, baked also, steamed. Beautiful location!! Amazing! Just rooms need a bit of renovation👍👏👏

This was a great week away. The views from pretty much anywhere from the hotel is immaculate. Going near the end of May meant it wasn’t extremely busy and we weren’t waiting long for food and drink etc. The food and drink was exceptional, as was the service. The beach was amazing with luxury sun loungers, and although it is a bit of a walk to get there due to the lift being not in use, there was electric carts in operation to assist us instead of walking up and down all the time. All the staff were lovely, always with smiling faces also. If you do come to stay here, I would recommend waking up early one day to watch the sunrise, as it was unreal! All in all this holiday was a well worth amazing holiday and hotel. Thank you so much!
