Little Copse
If you’re expecting anything more than a generous 3 star then think again. This hotel is rough around the edges. Now, price paid was cheap and this is reflected in the standard of the hotel. Rooms, i slept well, bed was comfy and I didn’t find any bed bugs. Shower liked to change temperature but that wasn’t an issue, i was still able to get clean, had shower gel and hand wash. Also comes with a hairdryer. Room has a kitchen with a stove, fridge and safe which you have to pay for. Standard of neighbour wasn’t great. 0330 a domestic, 0900, another domestic, following days loud groaning, use your imagination. Food, again for the price acceptable, bland but if you’re on a budget it filled a hole. I ate out and only had breakfast. Food hall was clean and staff attentive and assisted with dietary needs. GLUTEN etc. Bring Euros, if you want a towel you can hire one at 15 euro. Believe you get 10 back when returned. Drinks, you need a euro to buy a cup for beer. Pool was clean, opens at 10am so don’t rush down at 0600 for the people that are daft enough to do that. The loungers are all locked so you will look a right plonker. Hotel is on a hill, taxis back from the strip are around 5 euro. Overall my expectations were low on coming here but raised enough for me to say this is value for money. Won’t be coming back though. Holiday was free due to my friends mate dropping out so I really can’t complain.

This hotel is so outdated , self catering they had 1 pot 1 frying pan , no microwave kettle or toaster. The apartments are definitely clean , food is total crap apart from decent salad . Staff are very friendly & helpful , but I would not stay again as there is a lot of steps & beds where soo uncomfortable. Apartments are in bad shape skirting loads was hanging off too.

I’d give this hotel 2/5 stars overall. There were definitely a few positives, but also some pretty major downsides. The staff were generally helpful, especially the restaurant team who were always friendly and approachable. Reception was good too — we ran out of shower gel and after mentioning it to reception, a maintenance guy came almost immediately to sort it, which was appreciated. However, housekeeping was poor. We stayed for 4 nights and the room was only cleaned once, which isn’t really acceptable. The food was honestly awful. Probably the worst I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. That said, it’s a very cheap all-inclusive, so I wasn’t expecting anything amazing and I doubt it’s something that will change. The biggest issue was cleanliness in the room — we saw cockroaches every day, which is obviously not okay and really lets the place down. On top of that, the shower room had a strong smell of drains, like stagnant water, which made it unpleasant to use. Beds were decent enough and comfortable, and although there’s no air conditioning, the rooms stayed cool so it wasn’t really needed. We hired a car and were out most of the day, so we didn’t spend much time around the hotel. From what we saw, it seemed like a place where people just stay by the pool drinking most of the day. Overall, it’s a budget hotel and you get what you pay for, but the cleanliness issues and poor food make it hard to recommend.

The good: Lovely scenery. Close to lots of action. Staff are friendly. Cheap. The bad: Very uncomfortable beds, showers are poor, lost water to all our appartments for half a day, the buffets were awful. Im not a picky eater. Tried lots of offerings, it just wasnt nice and mostly stone cold. The pool bar is very limited. The pool is way too deep the whole length. Im 6'1 and was on my tip toes in the shallowest part. It also shuts at 6pm. The timings of the cafeteria are awkward too. Often causing you to miss out unless you stay very local. I will add this is my first holiday so no frame of reference to compare. Tldr: good locale for a cheap base of operations. Not too great for anything past getting a tan.

What Blue Sea Los Fiscos lacks cosmetically, is made up for with a really friendly team who are always ready to help and make your stay a pleasure. It is quite high above the harbour area, so either lots of walking, taxis or a nearby bus is required. The views towards Fuereventura from the pool area are superb. Food is of good quality. The choice is a little limited but very tasty. My only criticism is the heat lamps for the buffet are quite ineffectual so you may want to heat your food in the guest microwave in the dinning area. The rooms need modernising. They are dated and a bit shabby. However, the beds are really comfy and the rooms are beautifully clean. Los Fiscos is worth considering for your stay in Puerto del Carmen if you have a limited budget and represents great value.
