I stayed at this hotel in January and honestly didn’t know what to expect. I booked through Love Holidays, where the hotel has a very high rating, but when I checked Google reviews I was a bit unsure as the rating there didn’t seem as strong. I was very pleasantly surprised, because the Google rating really doesn’t do this place justice. The hotel was awesome. The location is great, with amazing views, and the overall atmosphere is just spot on. The staff, in general, are extremely helpful and attentive and really make you feel welcome. A special mention has to go to Eduardo, our bartender, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. That level of service really stood out, but honestly the whole team was fantastic. Our room was extremely spacious, clean, and comfortable, so I genuinely don’t understand what some people’s complaints are. We had a great experience from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and will definitely be coming back again in a few months.

Overall we had a fantastic stay here. You get exactly what you pay for, very good for a short break. I’ve done my review in bullet points as to what would’ve been useful before we went, as we read a chunk of bad reviews and it instilled unnecessary worries. Summary : Positives • We stayed 6 days (5 nights) - all inclusive • There was no €1 charge for a cup (it was €1 charge if you lost your cup) • 1 bar open until 11pm • San Miguel was the beer on draught • Premium soft drinks on self serve (Coca Cola, Fanta Orange & Lemon etc.) • Different cocktail of the day included in all inclusive. • Super friendly staff (Jonathan at the restaurant was incredibly welcoming every day to us) • Great views • Food was great for the value! Fish, paella, pasta, rice, chorizo, as well as an omelette station (some mornings) + some other food options. Food was somewhat repetitive, but it’s a 3 star hotel, don’t expect complete luxuries. • 3 pools, all clean and great! • Singer on at the bar on Saturday nights (we had one on the Saturday that we were there, and others we spoke to mentioned there’d been a singer the Saturday before too) Considerations • Lots of steps (it’s a hilly island, so you expect this, but just something to consider if you have reduced mobility) • Food does repeat every few days, but this isn’t really an issue. • Rooms are slightly dated, but you can see that from images when booking. As you can tell, we really enjoyed our holiday break here and would definitely come back again! Ultimately, you get what you pay for, and for a 3 star hotel & how much it cost for our stay, we felt it was fantastic value for money!

E. Monterrosa

I stayed here in November 2025. The location is convenient and the ocean view is nice. Breakfast was simple but fine for the price, and the staff were friendly in daily interactions. The main issue was the hygiene conditions inside the studio. I found cockroaches from the first nights onward. Mid-stay, I discovered several dead insects inside the ceiling lamp directly above the bed, and I also found one on the bed after waking up. I continued seeing them on the walls, bathroom, and ceiling throughout the stay. I reported the situation at reception and also sent messages via Booking.com and email. I didn’t receive replies to the written messages, and every time I asked to speak with the director, I was told he was not available. Booking.com later confirmed to me in writing that they tried to contact the property during the escalation but received no response. I stayed here last year without problems, which is why I booked again, but this time the conditions and the lack of follow-up were far below what I consider acceptable. I have filed a formal complaint through the official “hoja de reclamaciones.”

The hotel was underwhelming at best. Upon checking in I was late for lunch and therefore decided to visit the snack bar, where not only majority of the items weren't in the all inclusive package but the meat and cheese seemed sad and grey. Free wifi is also advertised as provided in every room but in reality my room was just short of connecting to it. The food itself was typically good but occasionally I'd have to leave the buffet hungry. At some point I had a wasp in my room. Overall the experience was okay and the hotel has lots of room to improve.

This is my second time staying at this hotel and I’ve loved my stays so much. The staff are amazing and so friendly. I had a maintenance issue but they rectified it within 10 minutes which is great. The food was better than I expected and the drink selection was great too. The pools are a great and the location is ideal too. Yes the rooms are a little old fashion, but, they are exactly as advertised and are a great size with a balcony to relax on too. I will definitely be going back again and cannot wait.
