My boyfriend and I stayed here this past weekend, and everything about this hotel was phenomenal. Upon check in, we were greeted by the nicest guy (I don’t recall his name, but he gave us a free drink ticket signed GS), who immediately made us feel right at home. Dan, the bellhop, was also wonderful. When we asked for recommendations in the area, he gave us some great ones. All of the workers at this hotel were absolutely wonderful but these two stood out. The room itself was lovely. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and it was quiet and peaceful at night, which made for a really relaxing stay. Room service was also excellent and exceeded our expectations. If I had to mention one small downside, it would be that the bathroom was a bit tiny, but honestly, it wasn’t a big deal at all. Overall, we had a great experience and would absolutely stay here again!

I had a wonderful stay at Beacon Grand. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was amazing. The doorman and luggage staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. A special thank you to the doorman with unique hair color — I didn’t catch his name, but he was so friendly and gave great recommendations. The front desk team was also very accommodating and kindly checked me in early at 1 pm instead of 4 pm. Everyone was warm, open, and genuinely helpful. It made my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again.

The Beacon Grand is a super place to stay, the location is in the heart of the city, a moment from shopping areas and the cable cars, and trams, which deliver you in style to most parts of San Francisco. The hotel itself is an iconic building, with vaulted ceilings and pillars of the lobby. Like most city centre hotels around the world, I would suggest you ask for a bigger room and if your budget can stretch to it, go for a suite. You will be impressed and it's tremendous value for money. You get amazing views and a beautiful room, with space to stretch out. Other stand out features are the Post Room lobby bar and restaurant. The classic dry martini with a twist, was amongst the best I've had, which paired perfectly with my light and delicious food. Then there is the 21st floor Starlite lounge and bar. Wow, the views, vinyl DJ playing retro tracks and the friendly fun vibes, we had a wonderful time. Perhaps most of all though have been the staff, and especially Mr Wali. When he heard we had travelled from London and were back in San Francisco to celebrate our anniversary and honeymoon from almost thirty years ago. He was gracious and attentive and made our stay very special indeed.

Services was excellent location great and the bar on top of the building was delightful great view of the city. The bed was comfy. No microwave bathtub was the most uncomfortable bathtub I have ever sat in no ice in halls you have to call for ice and its about a ten minute wait they do have water filling stations and a fridge. The toilet handle was broken no space to hang clothes tiny closet lots of drawers though. The no microwave and no easy access to ice made me not want to come back and stay.

New Year’s Eve at the Beacon Gran and it was a fabulous stay. Really had a cute little room, a very comfortable bed and a view of the sf streets below. The hotel is so gorgeous and if you don’t wanna stay, I highly recommend you go to the bar and get a drink with Casey and Hermilo who made me the best pisco sours and had fun with us all night. They also had a beautiful pianist! I also appreciated the hotel staff. We forgot some things in our vehicle and they brought them up to our room helped us out with other things throughout our stay
