A really nice good-value hotel. Rooms decor is perhaps unexciting but everything works well. Huge beds. Showers are powerful and hot and the rooms have balconies and bathtubs as well as the walk-in showers. The buffet breakfast choice is extensive. The pool and garden facing the long sandy beach, is lovely and quiet with many lounges under shady palm topped umbrellas. There is an external laundry service that washes clothes and returns and within a day and it is a short walk to numerous bars and restaurants. Staff are, without exception, friendly, cheerful and helpful. Finally, the hotel’s satay around the pool is the best. Sadly, it is under threat of redevelopment over the next two years so book it while you can.

I recently stayed here for 2 days and 1 night, and everything was absolutely perfect. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and easy. The hotel is wheelchair accessible, which is a big plus. The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially with parking. Even when the lot was full, they assisted us promptly. The lobby area is large and relaxing, creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere. There’s a water station available, and the swimming pool was clean and enjoyable. The best part is the direct access to the beach. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped, with a large bed, bathtub, hairdryer, iron, fridge and a balcony with a beautiful view. There was also a TV with basic channels. Food was easy to find too, with a restaurant just in front of the hotel within walking distance. Overall, this place is a great choice for families. I’m truly satisfied with my stay and would definitely come back!

Good resort and has access to the beach, nice room and pool. We enjoyed staying here. 3 stars because the gym is not maintained and doesn’t look as clean as the pictures, it is super dusty and old, the carpet needs to be cleaned badly and please fix the out of order machines too. Also, pls consider cleaning the gym on daily basis to maintain hygiene. Everything else is great at the hotel

We just checked out from this hotel. Breakfast was just average, although the roti canai was delicious. The pool area is very spacious, and the kids really enjoyed it. I would also like to comment on the dinner service. The food was not refilled in a timely manner—it took quite a while for the refill, and yet the buffet closed early. The next day during check-out, most of my colleagues mentioned that their children, and even some of our staff including me, experienced stomach discomfort. The hotel management should ensure that the food served is properly hygienic ( ayam black pepper )

Lovely environment, pool is clean, gardens are lush, thatched shelters around the gardens were well maintained, we enjoyed the birds around us, rooms are hygienic (except for the first day where we found the sheets stained and it was promptly replaced by staff), and the service is warm and sincere. The place is old so lights weren't working well and the staff helped repair it which worked for 1 night before a couple conked out again.
